We are in the process of gutting our basement on our recently purchased home. While I pretty much had an idea of the floor plan I wanted, I really wanted the input of a trained designer to double-check my ideas and make any suggestions to 1) avoid my amateur mistakes and 2) offer even better suggestions. I really just needed a sketch of the floor plan and not knowing any designers I searched on Houzz. Amber responded very promptly, we chatted via phone and she expressed how space planning was one of her favorite things. She suggested a 2 hour consult for her to do the walk-through and sketch and promised it would be fun. It absolutely was. I am so grateful for her ideas and expertise. I know that our floor plan was improved with her input. Amber also offers ala carte pricing packages which is exactly what I was looking for. She is passionate about her job and it shows. Thanks, Amber! Looking forward to working with you on this project and hopefully others down the road.

I am very grateful for the design work H&H did for me. As someone who cooks a great deal I had put a lot of thought into the remodel of my small kitchen and believed I had some good ideas. I was wrong. When I saw Amber's design I knew it was the best for the space. The design takes into account aesthetic issues such as lines of sight when one enters the room, and how the space feels when one is in it. It also addresses pragmatic issues such as maximizing storage and how people will move through the space. In addition, her design helped me get out of a conceptual trap I had fallen into, she really opened up my thinking about what is possible in the project. With Amber's design skills I am going to get a kitchen that is aesthetically pleasing and that meets the challenges of preparing big meals for family and friends. I highly recommend H&H.

Amber was super responsive, efficient, and full of helpful ideas for our interior and exterior updates. Our remodel was in progress when we reached out to Amber, and with some time sensitive decisions to be made, she fit us into her schedule on short notice and provided a thorough and thoughtful consultation. Very quickly she was able to understand the style we were going for and then proceeded to map out specific recommendations (paint colors, fixtures, flooring, etc.) that tied everything together. She is friendly and decisive, and very familiar with current products and trends. We plan to get more of Amber’s help in the future, and based on the experience we’ve had so far, would highly recommend her.

Hospitality and Home accomplished everything I, and my clients, wanted in a design/construction project. Amber was so easy to work with and had an exceptional eye for design and and problem solving in hard to work spaces. They were also very keen and attention to detail obsessed with our budget and any modifications we requested. I loved that there were no surprises.
