I was referred to Hannah by a colleague after hearing she had built a great reputation working with people in tech around the Bay Area. We ended up working together across multiple projects over the past couple of years, and I completely understand why she’s so highly recommended. Hannah and her team are incredibly responsive, organized, and easy to work with. They were always available to answer questions, accommodate design changes, and make sure everything reflected what I was looking for instead of pushing a one size fits all solution. The entire process felt collaborative from start to finish, and the attention to detail really shows in the final result. Disappointing experience with significant delays and added costs. While we had high hopes going into our whole-home renovation, working with Hannah did not meet our expectations. Several of the CAD designs she sent during the design phase were unrealistic or didn't make sense given our space, and some featured materials or products that turned out to be unavailable — details that should have been confirmed before being presented to us. At one point, the wrong design was sent directly to our contractor, which caused real delays to our timeline and added unexpected costs to the project. When we tried to raise these issues and get them resolved, we found her difficult to reach, and when we did connect, the interactions felt condescending and unprofessional rather than collaborative. For a renovation of this scale, we needed a designer who could take ownership of mistakes and work with us to fix them quickly — that wasn't our experience here. We ended up terminating our relationship with them in the middle of the project due to the substantial errors and lack of availability to resolve, and pulled in another design team to fix. We'd encourage anyone considering working with Hannah to ask detailed questions upfront about how design accuracy and product availability are verified, and how issues get resolved if something goes wrong.

Hannah might have a good eye for design, but the way that she runs her business is incredibly unprofessional. Someone different from her staff is always responding. Emails often don't get a response. We hired Hannah for a color consult. While palettes were eventually delivered. None were usable. Her staff repeatedly ignored emails and failed to answer basic questions. These color combos might look nice on Pinterest and Instagram, but they don't make any sense practically in our space. Paying nearly $2k to be ignored and disrespected by Hannah's staff was an upsetting experience.

I had never worked with a San Francisco designer before, but I am happy to say that it was a fantastic experience. Hannah efficiently worked her magic to keep things moving as we were relocating here in just a few months. The end result exceeded our expectations. I strongly recommend her services and can't wait to work with her again.

Our general contractor has not been as helpful as wanted and Hannah has made sure to be clear and detail-oriented in all of her responses. She has been a tremendous help.
