Julie is AMAZINGLY talented and so much fun! She transformed my townhome from being outdated, to my Oasis! The project included a kitchen and bath remodeling, light fixtures and the purchase of new furniture for the great room. My great room is my favorite, its filled with beautiful furniture that is unique, and the quality will stand up to my family’s lifestyle! I have a small eating area that initially was not usable. Julie ordered a Chaddock table that folds open when I have guests, its so unique! I’ll never get tired of the compliments. The next project is the Master suite, I can’t wait to see what she dreams up! Julie was wonderful to work with and made the process a great experience! J.A.Valencia

I walked into Haven Interior Design having been attracted by the window display just to browse. Interior Designer Julie Basinger Matuck happened to be on the floor and we started talking. I felt an immediate connection and began to put together a room full of furniture. She was patient with me and not pushy at all. Her guidance in this project was priceless and the resulting living room nothing less than stunning!! All of the employees are friendly and helpful. The owners are very nice people. Next time I’m in the market for any interior design project I’ll go see Julie at Haven Design in Geneva!!

We had a great experience with Donna, Jane and the entire Haven Team. When we moved into our new house we hired Donna to help. This was the first time we used a designer and it was a great experience. At our first meeting, I came with lots of magazine and Pinterest pictures. I was all over the board! Donna listened and asked me great questions like, "what about that sofa do you love" and "how do you see yourself using this room"? She took everything in and then got to work. Donna incorporated the things we loved and wanted to keep. The end result is a fresh, beautiful, yet comfy place my husband and I now call Our Home! I completely recommend Haven for any project and budget!

I have been working with the decorators at Haven for over a year as I have remodeled and furnished a home. They have helped with everything from tile selection to lighting selection to paint colors to furniture and finally accessories. They have offered me a wide variety of options to ensure that the end result is perfect. We did run into a few glitches along the way, as is likey to occur with a project like this, but they always worked hard to offer a quick and fair resolution. I will continue to work with them in the future and recommend them to anyone hoping to design their ideal space.

I decided to go with Haven Interiors for help decorating an entire first floor (LR, DR, Foyer, Parlor) after meeting with several other retail based designers. I was looking for help from everything from paint colors, furniture, rugs, and accent pieces/art. They created floorplans, came up with numerous layout options, and came up with brilliant designs and extensive options in individual pieces, working with me in my budget and within my taste/comfort zone. The creativity, vision, service and friendliness of their staff made what was a very stressful project, an enjoyable experience. The fact they source from numerous manufacturers and are not beholden to one or two lines, resulted in me getting the best options as a customer for my needs. They were so helpful in putting together a class act decor, helped me make a living space a livable and comfortable home, and were always willing to educate and work with me to find the best options. Their use of technology is great, emailing me updated floorplan options with measurements of new pieces, schematics and extensive pictures of potential choices, and real life samples of fabric, wood, hardware etc. I can't say enough of their service level, Haven takes ownership of a project, and will plan the design, go through exhaustive searches to find perfect pieces from the right manufacturers, and winnow them down based on your guidance. For example, when I was looking for oriental/persian rugs for several rooms, after narrowing down color schemes/styles, they explored several wholesalers, sorted through hundreds of options at each, had a subset selected, and had the options all laid out for me when I visited, to make a final decision. Even down to delivery and installation, everything was perfect. After major decor had been installed, they selected and brought over numerous accent pieces as options (everything from lamps, artwork, throws, frames, pottery, accent items including stature, bowls, candelabras, faux plants, etc), something i would never have the eye or patience to do nor time to spend looking for, and simply let me pick what I wanted to keep. The entire organization, and process/experience is phenomenal, and I would recommend Haven Interiors to anyone looking to professionally decorate a room, or an entire house. Donna and Anna-Marie were the designers I worked with and made this an incredible and seamless experience for me. I highly recommend Haven as a partner for your home design, the entire team is great, and Donna and Anna specifically were awesome.
