I have worked for Henderson Design Group as an employee of a general contractor, supervising close to a million dollar remodel and as a general contractor now. Their professionalism and knowledge of what they are providing to the client is outstanding. I have worked as a journyman finish carpenter all over the united states for 27 years and have dealt with many design groups. Their staff is one of the elite from my years of work and they know how to get the job done.

We worked with Eric Henderson and his great design team for a major renovation of our Big Island home. The results are spectacular! Eric and his team provided design and project management support, resulting in a project that was both on time and on budget, with fabulous results. The Henderson team was a pleasure to work with. They took the time to understand our needs and ensured that we were kept informed with the design and construction progress, as we were thousands of miles away while the work was being done. We contracted with Henderson Design Group on the Big Island of Hawaii to furnish and stock our new vacation home to be turnkey ready. Furniture, linens, dishes, stemware, accessories -- everything. We had only a two month timeline before the house was being used. Tara Gray and Jessica Osborn are team dynamo! They had "boards" ready for our review, samples ready for us to touch and see, and most of all -- they really heard us. Why we liked or didn't like something mattered and their follow up consistently took our comments into account. When we arrived last week, stepping through the front door for the first time was surreal. The place is stunning! We both teared up at how perfectly they had set it up. Magical.......

Remodeling is never an easy task. Doing a successful remodel 3,000+ miles from home takes a special team. We have been pleased to work with Eric Henderson and his team on not only one, but two successful remodeling projects for a villa and home in Hualalai. We acquired a villa three years ago and commissioned Henderson Design to give it a complete update. His team worked with us, understood our thoughts, needs and interests, and delivered a fresh new look to our villa. However, we quickly found the three bedrooms of the villa were not enough for our family, so we acquired a five bedroom home, also in Hualalai. Eric and his team were involved in our pre-acquisition discussions. Once again, their design eye and project management helped deliver a project that all members of our family truly enjoys. And the new owners of our villa are very pleased with the results of Henderson’s work as well. Eric and his team have put the extra efforts into our projects to help match our expectations with reality.

We commissioned Henderson Design Group in Seattle and Hawaii and are thrilled with the results. Our Lake House in Seattle is now a dream home with the custom design from Eric Henderson. When we purchased our already furnished home in the Big Island, we quickly decided the furnishings were not going to work for us. The Henderson Group office was nearby and Eric and his staff were very willing to help us with a new design. Eric was a joy to work with. He listened to our ideas and skillfully guided us to a solution for the entire house, which included three bedrooms. We have an extensive art collection and Eric was able to incorporate several pieces into the final design. He was also able to procure all of the furnishings for us; even a beautiful, locally made custom table. The final result is perfect for us and we expect to use his firm again as we enhance the interior in the future. We strongly recommend the Henderson Design Group!

Eric and his team just completed the installation of our dream house in Maui. From the floor to the ceilings the skilled designers at Henderson Design Group selected every finish and detail. We are delighted with the combination of the glass, wood and stone structure filled with warm, personable furniture and accessories. I can highly recommend Eric and his team who also managed the interior design of our home in San Francisco.

We remodeled our City place to open up it up and integrate a modern center kitchen space into our period marina style flat. Lots of little details to get just the right feel of modern and original throughout the space. Henderson did mainly the living room and dining room adjacent to the kitchen, but advised and helped throughout. Henderson was great answering questions and coming up with solutions to the many odd things that come up with an older home. The paint colors throughout and window treatments did a remarkable job with the new flow of the space. The furniture is all perfect and suited to our lifestyle and the look and feel we were after. Particularly, the living room is not that grand, but they were able to use incredible design choices, custom pieces, and floor covering that maximized the space for seating but also left open areas to the windows and rest of the flat giving us the desired spacious feel. Great use of our art collection, moving everything around in ways we never imagined and they were able to keep a few antique pieces we wanted to save. We will definitely use them again.

What a stroke of luck! We were introduced to Henderson Design Group by an acquaintance who was familiar with his work. This introduction was the most important decision we made when deciding to buy our second home in San Francisco. Our job was very challenging for a few reasons. Number One being that the residence we were buying wasn't completed; we had a skeleton, not no plaster - the entire unit was in a raw state. Number Two was our turn around time. We had a deadline of 3 and half months and we needed EVERYTHING for EVERY room. Paint, paper, lighting, window coverings, floor coverings, AV system, furniture and soft furnishings. This included fitting out a complete kitchen, custom built units, custom walk-in wardrobe and a 750 square foot private terrace. Inside and out, 100% of the house needed everything. And finally, we lived in the UK and had one week to make decisions in person and the rest had to be done via email. Eric Henderson was undaunted; taking it all in stride and accepting our job with a nary a hesitation or any lack of confidence in our timeframe. In two days time, he learned our tastes, asked us smart questions about our lifestyle and thought of clever ways to maximize the floor plan to our advantage. Not only did he create an exquisite home away from home for us with his suggestions of textures and colour palette, Eric thought about the architectural aspects of the unit itself. Every decision was carefully thought out with a keen eye every detail and worked well within our budget with no surprises or additional fees.There were no mistakes and the process could not have been easier for us in any way. This is professionalism at the highest level. Three months later, we open the door to our home...perfect in every way and better than we ever could have imagined. The space was a lovely building and would have made a nice home for anybody. However, our home is our haven away from London and we love it more and more every visit. Because of Eric's creative talent, his obvious people skills and professionalism, we whole heartedly would recommend Henderson Design Group to the most discerning of tastes. Our experience with Eric has been nothing short of wonderful.

My friends and family would tell you that I am PERFECTIONIST, but I was no match for Eric Henderson of the Henderson Design Group because he is also a Perfectionist! Eric is so easy to work with. He listened to what we wanted, stayed within our budget, and finished the job on time. He is calm, organized, and always came well prepared for our meetings. We have three children and he took that into account when choosing fabrics for our home; he used outdoor fabrics whenever appropriate and we even used some indoors! Eric was responsive and always responded to our calls and emails right away. His office and support staff are incredibly thorough and organized. He sourced things in stock when he could so we never had a long lead time. He has a classic look with a great attention to using color for fun and is forward trending. He was competitive in pricing. He attended every meeting even though some were led by his support staff. Eric worked extremely well with us and was respectful to others on our project. Our project was huge and Eric was able to manage all aspects of it from design thinking to implementation. We highly recommend him for every PERFECTIONIST out there!

I frequent their shop in Hawai'i at the Shops at Mauna Lani. Eric and his team have done a number of projects for my real estate clients. They truly will provide "a piece, a room, a home" --a small project or a large one with the same attention to detail and professionalism.
