The designers at Hillson's are wonderful to work with! During my first project with them it seemed to me they knew what I wanted before I was able to pin down what I wanted. They were not judgmental about anything: my taste, budget, choices, procrastination, etc. My first project with them was a kitchen remodel that required the services of electricians, plumbers and contractors. Hillson's remained in communication with ALL of these service people; they arranged the schedule, covered all troubleshooting, and generally kept them all off my back. I am now working with Hillson's on a series of other projects throughout my home, some large some small, and I am grateful I found them. They are especially knowledgeable about older homes, which has been very helpful to me.

Hillsons Design Services has helped me with three different homes since 1998. We have covered styles ranging from traditional to mid-century and they have great ideas for each style. My husband and I have been more than pleased with Hillson's as they have assisted with decorating and design for both his office and our home. We have purchased beautiful blinds, fabrics, and furniture with Betty and Stephanie's assistance, and they have also guided us with paint colors, room arrangements, carpet selection and remodeling plans. Their service is personal and yet professional in the truest sense. I cannot imagine doing any of the above without them!

Betty and Stephanie came on board after our house plans were complete but construction had not begun.( our house began in April of 2013 and is estimated to be completed in June of 2014). I interviewed several decorator/designers but felt they all were not listening to what was our taste but wanted to instill their preferences in my home. That was not the case with Hilsons. First off they LISTENED! And even though I did not have exact photographs of what I was looking for they combed thru hundreds of magazine pictures until we were able to get the clean, simple, settings we were looking for. No matter what it took, from putting outside paint color samples up in the blazing heat to getting on the floor to lay out all possible selections of cabinet hardware they did it ! If they felt I was going in the wrong direction with something we discussed it in detail with clear, consistent explanations of why a particular color or texture would not blend well with other choices already made. Our home is very unique with some unusual features that were hard to deal with. These ladies worked very well with all the trades involved. The final product is going to be fantastic. I cannot imagine having made all these decisions without their assistance and guidance. If you do not think you need two people think again. They give you twice the knowledge at a very reasonable price. My husband stayed nervous about the budget and they really helped keep that In line. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
