HMS Interiors is a full service interior design firm based in Manhattan Beach, California. We design homes all up and down the California coast. Drawing from our affinity for the classic yet coastal, we create stunning interiors from the ground up, taking our clients from the initial concept through the styling and completion of your home. We also renovate, style and design existing homes to create custom stunning spaces. Design should be comfortable yet beautiful, and at HMS interiors we collaborate with the best builders, architects, and artisans in the business to create thoughtful and one of a kind interiors. We found Hillary on Houzz / Instagram for our NYC --> Manhattan Beach move. We were moving from a 1-bed apartment to a 5-bed home with little furnishings and needed a ton of help. Enter Hillary, the kindest and most talented designer we could hope for! Her cozy + chic taste is just perfect. She's worked within our budget finding a range of special pieces while masterfully fitting in what we already owned. Everyone who comes over is blown away. Couldn't be more grateful to have such a wonderful partner design our dream home!

Hillary is amazing! She helped us with so many aspects of our entire house remodel. We ended up remodeling our entire house and got in a little over our heads. We contacted Hillary and she helped us finalize grout colors, grout size, countertops, interior paint colors, exterior paint colors, hardware...the list goes on. Afterward, we had her help us design our master bedroom and guest room and order furniture. I can't speak highly enough of Hillary! We learned a lot in the process too...my husband and I now stop before making a decision and ask each other what would Hillary do? She's taught us to push past the obvious to find something better. It was a great experience working with Hillary. When I hired her, I realized that I had strong opinions about the design, but I wanted someone that would bring new ideas. I ended up sending her my mood board Powerpoint files and she did an amazing job of really bringing the design to life and elevating it. She's great to work with!
