Having determined a need in our area for high-quality home design coupled with a comprehensive interior plan, Luke established Home Comfort in an effort to provide our clients with a ‘soup-to-nuts’ experience. Each designer has a passion for providing high-quality products and superior service, and they recognized that, collaboratively, we can provide a seamless blend of talent and vision to our discerning clientele. We had shopped at Home Comfort throughout the years, picking up a piece at a time, but always loved going in the store since it was so beautiful, almost like a proverbial candy-store. It was not until early 2013 that we ventured in to buy a mirror for our 1979 lake home, since we were in the process of refinishing our wood floors and updating our bathrooms, that we ran into Sheryl Baker, the in-house interior designer. That was when our relationship started. My husband and I instantly connected with Sheryl; and even though we had no intention of renovating any of our outdated bedrooms and bunkhouse, it became obvious that Sheryl understood the basic feeling we wanted to maintain for our multi-generational home, and went forward with the project. Sheryl's eye for color, design and respect of our ideas, coupled with the wonderful furniture and accessories Home Comfort offers, really made our renovation an unbelievable success. We started the major renovation in 2013, added some items in 2014, and recently refaced our brick fireplace with updated stone in 2015.

On a whim my husband stopped by Home Comfort looking for a cedar chest for Christmas. Once inside he liked a number of the pieces that they had on display. We both went back, and fell in love with some of the larger hutches. Our house however has funky doors, and low ceilings. Susie worked with us, walked us through what would work in our home. She even gave us some direction in choosing the color that would work in our farmhouse. I have to say we are impressed with Home Comforts attention to detail, their customer service/response time, and the friendly atmosphere at the store. We are both very impressed with these folks, and we are more than happy with the purchases that we made! I would definitely use them in any projects we had in the future!

The Home Comfort Team worked with us to completely renovate a cottage we recently purchased on Squam Lake. It was straight from the Brady Bunch era and needed a lot of TLC! With their expert help, our dream home has been completely transformed. Painting, plumbing, electrical and structural needs were all addressed by very competent contractors and Sheryl Baker, our designer, did a fabulous job of taking my vision for the décor and making it even lovelier than I could have imagined! Oh, and did I mention that my full-time home is in California...3000 miles away? All of the coordinating and communication took place long distance! Sheryl was always available to answer my questions. Luke, Frank and so many others followed through so efficiently on any changes or challenges that came up. I had complete trust in Home Comfort from our first interactions. It's a dream for us to own a home in this area and it's been a dream to work with Home Comfort as well. We couldn't have managed this without them!

Our project was the renovation of a 4500 sq ft home on Lake Winnipesaukee. We had a short timeframe of completion in 2.5 months. When the completion date came and some things had not arrived in time they kindly loaned us furniture so we could entertain guests for a long holiday weekend. Home Comfort is all about customer service. The best I have ever experienced. They offer full-service decorating and remodeling which is very helpful. We are very happy with the quality and uniqueness of their products and we highly recommend them.
