We spent a year designing and building our custom home and worked alongside Inge throughout. We strongly recommend Inge as she is a top-end designer and helped us throughout all stages of our home completion. I so enjoyed working with Inge and having her expertise at hand! She was able understand my visions and incorporate her own creative ideas to improve designs throughout our whole house. Inge assisted us over the duration of our house build both with interior and exterior elements. Several years ago, my husband and I bought a parcel of land in Whitefish, MT with the idea of building a summer home. We have been planning the home for almost 20 years. However, late in 2015 we found out that the HOA had numerous new requirements and restrictions. The project quickly became extremely complicated not only because of all the rules, but because we were trying to do this long distance from Arizona. We were lucky to have a great contractor, but the best part was that he contracted for the services of Inge Cahill of Home Matters to advise and coordinate with us. Inge is extremely knowledgable of both construction and decorating but also of the local area. She patiently shepherded us through all the various vendors and advise d of the places with best services and products and best discounts. She was on hand 24-7 for my phone calls and questions.She was able to be my eyes on the project and we avoided a number of pitfalls due to her expertise. She absolutely saved me from stressing out over all the little problems that arose and the numerous decisions, like what hinges or door knobs to pick. I can say with full confidence that anyone using Inge's services will get more than their money's worth.

I was initially introduced to Inge Cahill (Home Matters) by my builder, Marc Daniels of Big Mountain Builders, LLC. What I didn’t know at the first meeting but did learn through the 8 months of construction of my home is that from her training and experience, Inge can quickly determine the behaviors and movements of the home owner in their living environment in order to create spaces that are both attractive and functional. Inge reviewed the house plans with me, discussed then walked through the spaces with me and suggested modifications that might work best for my lifestyle. Her eye for function of interior spaces was essential to providing ergonomic, acoustic, traffic flow patterns that made sense in my new home. Inge worked with me to perfect a timeline - to have decisions made in advance of need - to keep in sync with the builder and his sub contractors. She kept me one (or more) steps ahead of the timeframe for ordering materials and their installation. With her expertise, I was able to review and decide flooring, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, stone, tile, cabinetry, interior timbers, lighting, color, hardware requirements, fireplace details, etc. before construction. Her resources, contacts and connections saved me immeasurable time. She accompanied me to assist in making the right decisions for my home, avoid costly mistakes, save money and ultimately increase the value of my home. As my home reached completion, Inge counseled me regarding room functionality: creating organized spaces, the use of color, window coverings, and furniture placement. I came to depend on Inge for her professional advice and to help me stay one step ahead of Marc Daniels and his subcontractors. I will continue to utilize Inge's superb organizational and design skills in the future. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a bright, well organized and well connected professional to assist with all issues related to a home or office environment.

If I could give Inge 10 stars...I would. Inge is absolutely hands down fantastic. When we purchased a home in Montana, we knew it would be very difficult to get the interior designed and furnished from our residence in California. We were very excited to meet Inge and get started on this project. We had a tight budget and a tight deadline and we had to rely heavily on Inge to take care of everything. Inge worked within all of these constraints to perfection. We furnished this house with only 1 trip to Montana in person and many phone calls and texts. Whenever Inge said she was going to take care of something, she did. She always followed through and was in communication with me whenever necessary. I cannot recommend Inge enough, she is such a professional and has an incredible eye. She kept in mind my personal preferences all while steering me towards furniture and decor that just looks sharp! In a matter of 2 months we went from a brand new empty house to a beautifully warm and welcoming home. We absolutely love the house and are so extremely appreciative of Inge and her talents. She is the the BEST! I most definitely hope to work with her again soon.
