Our remodel is huge - we're changing about 90% of our house - and ongoing. The size of the remodel means we've had to figure out everything from scratch, from floors to ceilings to counters to sinks. Mary helped us by figuring out what we liked and narrowing down choices. We were gone for 3 months in the winter (a brutal winter), and Mary helped the contractor and crew stay on track and helped coordinate decisions that needed to be made when we were gone. Our living area is 95% done, and we love it. Her eye for color helped create some beautiful highlights. She's also very responsive, which was great.

Mary is extraordinary. Everything from her positive approach, cheerful energy, sincere interest and timely follow-through was appreciated. Not to mention her match of listening to what I was envisioning to really putting the exact pieces together. It was the most fun I have had with buying the home and decorating. I wish I could keep her on retainer for each little nook and cranny!

Mary had great ideas about how to use our small space to make it look bigger by switching the dining and living space. And she helped me think outside the box about using lighter colors for furniture but making sure what I bought was "kid proof." She is easy to work with about budget: I was willing to spend a little more on some pieces and helped me find other cheaper but very functional pieces. She is responsive and creative and enthusiastic about her work.

Mary was the perfect amount of help. She helped me with the really hard part, staying organized with the endless decisions there are to make. She was the sounding board and the sanity I needed. Invaluable help!

I so appreciate Mary's prompt response, enthusiasm, and encouragement for our home project! She is a clear communicator using both text and photos (incredibly helpful!) and it's obvious that she loves what she does. Ideas just flow out of her! She even gave me some free outdoor tips - things I had not even thought about or noticed. VERY helpful!

Mary helped me with an open floor plan remodel for our 9 year old home. Mary has helped to decorate, plan furniture purchases and arrangements, and plan various woodworking projects throughout our home. Her work is excellent! She is always on time, focused and prepared for our meetings. She makes sure we set and reach our design goals. She has connected me with several local tradesmen in order to make projects flow smoothly. She has worked hard to incorporate ideas that I have and improves upon them with her sense of style and excellent design skills. Mary has the GIFT of creating flow, color, and comfort to each room. She responds promptly to our requests, and provides options for decorating that are reasonably priced. If we don't care for something, she immediately has other options. We are delighted with her work. She is lots of fun to work with!!!

My goal for the design was to plan the furnishings before finalizing the floor plan. Mary did the layout which ensured that the proposed furniture would actually fit in the space as built. She did an excellent job in coordinating and selecting the styles and colors for the painted surfaces, flooring, and counter tops. And assisted with the selection of the plumbing and lighting fixtures. In all of the above she was respectful of the budget and made sure there was a good cost/benefit approach.
