Luxury no longer equates to how much you spend on your designer or decorating your home. True luxury is hiring the right designer that can interpret your dreams and create a thoroughly unique and personal environment. House of Holland is my dedication to all the creative influences which formed my philosophy of design. I believe that everyone lives with things they love, but might just need a little help pulling it all together. In my personal life, my experiences have taught me to extend myself outside of the norm and to visualize beyond what is ordinarily seen. To my clients, this means I have the ability to truly listen to their needs, and deliver a result beyond their expectation of what "interior design" typically delivers. This allows me to create unique but comfortable and livable spaces for each individual assignment. I mix textures, colors or materials that give each project results that the client feels happy to claim as their own.

Karen Chidiac was fabulous! She helped me with a very large redecoration which eventually turned into staging my house. My house looks so great now, I don't want to sell it! She is very creative, she truly listened to my likes & dislikes, and I would work with her again in a heartbeat!

I had an excellent time working with Karen and highly recommend her services. She was able to help me understand my budget and develop a staged timeline. She also guided me to come up with a design that was uniquely mine which I thought was impossible. Incredibly enough she made sure the design is as beautiful as it is functional. She was able to complete our project on time and within my budget. Karen was able to suggest ideas, layouts and colors that I never thought of or imagined and yet truly reflect my personality and get the end result I am incredibly happy with. We love our home and hope you get an opportunity to work with her.

We had a great experience with Karen. She helped me to identify our style in a way that flowed with the architecture of our home, something I was really struggling to do when it was so disconnected due to previous owner's design choices. She was also flexible with many changes we required, a valuable quality when considering timeline, budget, contractors, and all the elements of good design. I found her a pleasure to work with and would definitely hire her again. She was also considerate of our financial limitations, and was patient to help us get the job finished.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Karen from House of Holland. I originally brought Karen in for a consultation, and have since hired her for 2 major projects and renovations. Her ability to incorporate both my husband's traditional style with my more modern taste is outstanding. She has helped transform our outdated boring home to a place where we are proud to entertain. Karen understood where we were in life and what was practical and safe for my 4 kids (2 babies). She always kept this at the forefront of her mind when creating her design by helping me chose fabrics and materials that were "kid friendly". I appreciated Karen's dedication to staying within our set budget and deadline. Karen is a fair and honest individual that I thoroughly enjoyed working with. Karen is great to work with, she help me put together some ideas I had but was not confident enough to do on my own. She was able to use some of my existing pieces and found others for me. Karen could see the possibilities of the room and help me see that also. She help choose the right colors to get the finish look I was wanting. I look forward to working with her on other projects.

Karen works well with clients understanding needs, really listening to the "wish list", and creating something wonderful. She does an amazing job of incorporating personal items while adding a very professional and finished look to any job. She does a great job of working within a budget, stretching the dollar the way you'd never imagine. Whether using her for public space or private, Karen has the touch for making any space warm and inviting! I can't wait to use her again on my next project!
