House of Jade Interiors

I would HIGHLY recommend this company! We used House of Jade Interiors E-Design for several rooms in our new home. We needed some help with space planning and furniture selection as we were starting from scratch in a new build. Natalie was the Designer assigned to our project and we had a fantastic experience with her. We had a very thorough meeting going through all of our preferences, personal style, and everything we were hoping to achieve with our spaces. After that we sent our top "inspiration pictures" for each space and then she went to work hand-selecting items and finishes for our home. We felt it was really helpful with spacial layout, color coordination, textural layering, and many other things. I found it really helpful that she was able to tie the rooms together with a great flow. I would 100% recommend this service. We are soooo happy with the way our home turned out and we always get lots of positive feedback from friends and family when they visit.

We recently did a full gut renovation on our home in Long Island, New York. When thinking about design, we had a good grasp on what we wanted our home to look like, but didn't quite know how to bring that vision to life. We spoke to a few local designers and felt that they would either want too much control over the larger project and/or were too expensive. My husband discovered House of Jade on Instagram and we immediately loved their aesthetic and had a consultation for their e-design services. We quickly realized that they were the perfect fit and began with a few bedrooms and ultimately ended up using their services for our entire home. They are the best of the best - we had inspiration photos galore and an idea of what we wanted for each room and they truly helped us select every detail to make sure that vision could become a reality. They listened to what we liked and didn't like and provided options. We both say it constantly - we wouldn't have been able to move so quickly and wouldn't have a completed look if it weren't for the team at HOJ. They are beyond talented - thoughtful, responsive, communicative, diverse in their design and honest. They were also beyond helpful in a pinch. The decisions are endless when renovating a home, and in some cases we had no idea what direction to go. We'd book an hour session with their team to help support some of our most important decisions. I would recommend HOJ over and over again - their work and team are top notch. I included some photos of our project "in the works."

My wife and I hired Maddy DeVries and Rachel Watcke with house of Jade. I have been in the Real Estate industry for 20 years. I have done many projects, ie flip, new builds etc. I have a lot of experience with the process. Initially, I did not think we needed a professional designer and was skeptical on spending the money. I am beyond thrilled and impressed with the level of professionalism and what they have done on our home. We own a historic home in the Harvard Yale area of Salt Lake. This is a unique project. They have knocked it out of the park. The home is incredible, and their designs skills are top-notch. Communication has been amazing. I would highly recommend them. I am a very happy customer and will be using them again on the next project for sure!

Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review in regards to House of Jades interior design services for our house. I first contacted them .in November to furnish a home that we bought in Midway by July. We first met in January and by March there were some items selected and paid for by us. Evidently, at some point our designer quit and I had to call the owner to find out. No one had bothered to communicate with us. Another designer was assigned and apparently no communication was made in regards to our budget or the contract we had signed. After another two months and another large check deposited to them, we were told that our project would go way beyond our budget and they would need to go 300 hours over the 150 hours of designer service we committed to in our contract in order to finish the job. At that point we ended our relationship and have had to deal with trying to take over the project. It is now mid October and we are still missing several pieces of artwork and furniture for our house. They have blamed it on Covid but this project started in January. Another issue I have is they initially refused to take back items that were clearly a mistake on the designers part and have sent us bills to correct problems and to return items. Our blinds were not approved by us and were clearly not the black out curtains we asked for and we had to pay $2,500 to correct the problem. Their response was you should have looked at the bill from the blinds person more carefully. No responsibility was taken on their part. Bean bags for the theater room were ordered that were so loud and noisy that there was no way they could be used. They refused to return them and we had to pay $1,000 and had to pay for sending a link to us for new bean bags. We were charged bills to return a too large rug for a bedroom that was the designers mistake. This experience has been a nightmare! The house looks nice but it was not worth the stress we have gone through.

I worked with HOJ Interiors through their EDesign offering, which was a great option for our family. The team was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. They took the time to really listen to our needs and goals for the space, and came up with a lovely design that works for our family. They were receptive, timely, and always happy to offer suggestions and ideas. I would absolutely use this service again in other areas of our home.

House of Jade was wonderful to work with! We used their e-design services and could not have been more pleased with the entire process -- easy and accommodating from start to finish. We loved the final outcome, and the designer we worked with (Natalie) listened so well to our style preferences and practical needs.

House of Jade worked with me to turn our dark and dated 90s Mcmansion into a light filled beautiful home . Kirsten and her team were able to recommend an amazing contractor, Chris at Morley Home Construction, and work with him to execute the project. At the end, they were able to blend new pieces with our precious items to provide the perfect mix of old and new. I really couldn't be happier!

I can't say enough good things about the House of Jade team! They are extremely professional and passionate about what they do. They were such a pleasure to work with and always seemed to be accessible (it was great to be able to send a picture via text while shopping and get their opinion). We gutted our kitchen and reworked our living room and the end result is beyond what I could have imagined in the beginning! We already have them working on our next project!

I loved working with these girls! Every meeting was a little party and it was so fun for them to bring my vision to life. I love looking around my house each day knowing that it is exactly house I wanted it. They are truly talented and know what they are doing!!

Until I hired these ladies I absolutely hated my home. Despite buying new furniture over the years I never felt my spaces felt "done" nor were they what I had envisioned. When I stumbled upon Kirsten's blog while searching online for decorating ideas I decided to take the leap and try e-Design. Several projects later I am absolutely hooked! Their vision is exactly what I had been seeking all these years in regards to my living spaces. I kid you not when I say I no longer fight over moving with my husband since using House of Jade!

I have worked with House of Jade for almost four years now. Kirsten and Erin are amazing visionairies with all design aspects. Their ability to turn your current space into a dream area is uncanning. They always work within my budget and timing. My tastes are always reflected in their work, but they aren't shy to push my style limitations either - which is fabulous. They've worked on everything from ceiling to floor for me (literally) - chosen wallpapers, paint colors, lighting, fabrics, even kitchen backsplashes. I don't touch a room before consulting them first. Highly recommend.

I had the best experience working with the House of Jade team. I asked them to design 4 very different rooms in my home for 4 very opinionated family members, and each room turned out beyond anyone's expectations. I wondered how they could possibly take the elements that my children and husband were asking for and turn it into something amazing - but they did! With each room reveal we were blown away and stunned. I loved that I didn't have to be involved in the minute details because I could trust their eye and judgement to make it look perfect. I am so glad I hired them, my house is a home now. I love walking into the spaces that they created and just looking around and admiring the work they did. The rooms they did for my home are my favorite in their portfolio now because they are so personal to us and catered to individual tastes. Thank you!

I hired House of Jade to come and help me decorate my playroom. I had a few specifics that I wanted but then turned it over to them trusting their professional creativity. What they created for me was more than I could have ever hoped for! It was simply perfect! They were so quick to respond to any and all of my questions during the process. They were flexible with my schedule and made me feel zero stress (because I don't know about you but decorating my home can give me anxiety!). Their taste is flawless and their style is so fresh! I love sending my kids up to play in their own space but I often go up there too just to enjoy the room itself and the smiles in it!

Kirstin and Erin were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were professional, prompt for appointments, and communicated well with me throughout the project. They were flexible when I wanted to make changes and they always let me have as much or as little say as I wanted. They worked with me when I needed to push things back and make budget changes. Everything about the finished project was perfect! I love my room and look forward to working with them again on my next room!
