I found Stevi when I was searching for a professional who would help me create a unique environment in our new home. I was so bored with everything I had been seeing on websites for friends' interior designers and in newly renovated homes in the neighborhood. Frustrated with so much of the same on repeat, I dove deep into Houzz and thankfully found Stevi at House of Meraki. I remember the feeling of excitement that I felt as I looked thru her website. Stevi and her team helped us with a gut renovation of our four bedroom, 3 1/2 bath Upper West Side prewar apartment. After looking at many apartments, we settled on a 100 plus year old prewar as we were drawn to the prewar charm - spacious layout, soaring ceilings and moldings and two working fireplaces, none of which we could find in the new developments we saw. We met regularly with Stevi and her team as she helped us design our bathrooms and kitchen, and now we are still working closely with her on interior design. We loved that Stevi understood our desire to preserve the character and aesthetic charm of our prewar apartment, while simultaneously modernizing and injecting new life into it. What we loved most about Stevi is that she really paid close attention to our likes and dislikes and the vision we had for our home and most importantly, she never tried to push anything on us that we did not love. We have very much enjoyed working with Stevi and her team and are very thrilled and grateful for our new home!

Had a wonderful experience working with Stevi to renovate my living room. It is an older home and we wanted to keep the charm but make it more modern. Stevi did a great job learning what our style was and picking colors, and materials that really add a wow factor to the house, without spending a fortune. Stevi helped my wife and I design a library, master bedroom and kids bedroom. All three rooms came out stunning and beyond anything we had imagined for the spaces. This was particularly true for the the library where we told Stevi to “go wild” with her imagination and design. Every person that’s ever seen it is in love with the room. It really is a show stopper. Stevi is super easy to work with and really listened to what my wife and I like, our taste and vision. She incorporated that into her design to come up with the perfect rooms for us. Walking into a lot of friends houses, all the decor in their homes looks the same. Stevi adds a very personal touch so every room feels unique and special to us. Stevi has a very thorough process. After listening to our vision and getting a sense of our taste she presented the rooms with numerous options for each piece. From there we worked towards the final design Stevi is now in the process of helping us design our entire first floor!
