As a finish carpenter I work with a lot of designers, but I have to say that when I met Michelle from “ House to Haven Interiors “ I was very impressed not only with her but with how she conducts herself around me and with the clients we collaborate with. Even though Michelle has many talents in the interior design world, what stands out for me as a contractor who is an attention to detail carpenter is HER attention to detail as well. Michelle is always at an estimate with me in the beginning meeting the new clients with drawn designs, inspiration pictures, and plenty of foreseen ideas to help bring the WOW factor to the space we’re working on together. Michelle is highly motivated in helping her clients achieve their goals, desires, and dreams to make their homes stand out above all the rest! As a professional in the construction industry I can’t express enough on how much I appreciate working with Michelle and once you meet her you will see what I see.

Michelle is the KINDEST soul! She went above and beyond for my little house project. Answered every silly question I asked, took my personal taste/style into consideration, and treated me like I was her most important customer. Can not recommend House to Haven enough!

Amazing experience with Michelle, she designed and decorated the whole interior of Skin NV’s new location in Odessa, Florida. My husband and I have been working with House to Haven for the past two years on our new construction home. We thoroughly enjoyed working with House to Haven during the planning process, but we quickly learned we chose the wrong designer when the execution phase began. We used their preferred vendor for our hood and mantle and we made two payments to the company through House to Haven. House to Haven started billing us hours for time spent with the hood/mantle in June 2023, spearheading the project. Two months prior to move-in date of our home, I learned passively that the hood/mantle had not been ordered. The hood/mantle takes 10 weeks to create, which was beyond our move-in date. I then took control and learned two of our payments for the hood/mantle were not fully applied. Over the course of a week, I communicated with House to Haven and the hood/mantle company, trying to discover the missing $1,700 from two payments. House to Haven did not admit to taking part of our payments, but we later learned that's exactly what occurred based on invoicing and check copies. Due to their delay in ordering and communication, we incurred thousands of additional costs in order to obtain a certificate of occupancy. We had to buy and install a temporary hood, store our backsplash and then pay to have the temporary hood removed. House to Haven also didn't accurately communicate needed preparation for the mantle, we now need to cut the slab. I'm a firm believer that we all make mistakes, but House to Haven didn't accept responsibility when mistakes were made. House to Haven sourced patterned carpet for a theater room, but incorrectly ordered the size, not accounting for the pattern and seams. This resulted in us having to reorder an entire larger roll to accommodate the room. Our builder did a charge-back to House to Haven for the carpet, which House to Haven refused to pay. House to Haven incorrectly approved of wrong flooring to be installed in a closet (hardwood but it should've been carpet). We sourced a large amount of materials from their preferred vendor, which we had numerous quality issues with. House to Haven downplayed our concerns based on "minimal and normal" defects. The supplier eventually came to our home personally to capture photos to send to the manufacturer, agreeing that visually the product is not consistent with what was in the showroom. The same vendor did our wine cellar, which House to Haven charged to inspect and then approved. The vendor again came to our wine cellar several additional times, correcting issues with the wine cellar. House to Haven didn't support us in any issues regarding products sourced and installed with that preferred vendor, it was very clear that the loyalty was with the company and maintaining the business relationship with them.

Our Firm had the opportunity to work with Michelle on a high end Med Spa full build out for SkinNV. The experience was beneficial for all parties involved from the Field Trades to the General Contractor to the Customer. Michelle's attention to detail, professionalism, & follow thru made the Project transform from Concept to Reality in the form of a beautiful + functional space for SkinNV's Team to serve their Patients. House to Haven Interiors are so wonderful to work for! From concept to installation, Michelle and her team have been wonderful partners. I was lucky enough to partner with them on a whole house interior design project, and each step of the process felt transparent, supportive and fun. Michelle was excellent at taking my feedback onboard but also challenging my thinking to achieve my overall objectives in the design of my home. In a project like this, not everything goes according to plan--in my case my sofa manufacturer went bankrupt after ordering everything else for that room. Michelle calmly guided me to alternatives that would work and would be delivered on time. As well, one piece arrived damaged (again, of the dozens of items sourced for my home, this is totally normal). Michelle was diligent in following up on a repair/replacement. Each day I come home, I am so at peace in the space they created. I am so lucky to have had House to Haven as partners on my journey. I would use them again without hesitation!

I can't say enough kind words about Michelle and her team. They were great! Michelle really took the time to understand what I was looking for and all the designs they curated speak exactly to me and my style. Her and her team were proficient and really on top of things! I love that they were able to give me the pure "wow" factor every time I walk into all the spaces they helped us transform!

Michelle is an amazing person and one of the top designers in the area. I would recommend her to anyone I know and if I could give her 10 stars I would.

Michelle was such a pleasure to work with! After reaching out to few interior designers, I knew once I met with her that she was the one for the project. She got my vision/sense of style and had such great ideas on how to incorporate everything. The main project she helped me with was my daughter’s nursery and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined!
