Hudson Home

We hired Hudson Home to redecorate the foyer, living room, and dining room of our Dutch Colonial home in Saratoga Springs. We'd been in the Hudson Home store several times and so admired their aesthetic that, when we decided to redecorate, it was an easy choice. Greg, Richard, Benjamin, and the entire HH team were fantastic to work with throughout the entire process. It's not an easy thing to interpret and deliver on the subtle expectations of homeowners, but Greg and team did just that. We couldn't be more pleased!

We hired Hudson Home to redecorate our kitchen and family room and we are beyond thrilled with the outcome. We were unhappy with the existing rooms because they were dark, even on a bright summer day. The cabinets, which we just purchased 9 years ago, had a medium/dark stain and the furniture was upholstered in bold tones. Greg really worked wonders! He had the perimeter cabinets and woodwork painted a beautiful shade of white, and the island was painted black. We were able to keep our original granite on the perimeter and now have a gorgeous marble island, The quality of the furniture along with the beautiful light upholstery is second to none. Cool, up to date lighting, wallpaper and great artwork finished up the project which we could not be happier with. Greg and Richard were such a pleasure to work with. If we had any idea it was going to turn out so phenomenally we would have hired them a long time ago!

I hired Hudson Home for design and project management services for a mid-sized apartment renovation. Although they are very nice people individually, they dragged their feet at every stage and dropped the ball on major issues (such as filing building plans), ultimately dooming the project. They often failed to respond to emails and requests for phone calls and assistance, even after conversations about their lack of professionalism and asking them to give the project more attention. Overall, an incredibly disappointing experience and a waste of the money I spent on their fees. Perhaps if you are spending more money (my budget was in the low six figures), they are more attentive. Unfortunately, I would not recommend them to friends.

We've worked with Greg and Richard for more than a decade on various projects of varying scale. Both have always been a pleasure to work with. Greg is excellent at influencing what we want into something more than we might have envisioned. As a result we end up with spaces that we love EVERY single time we walk into them even so many years later - such a nice thing at the end of any work day.

We fully renovated our home during 2006. Greg Feller was the designer on the project. We love working with Greg and worked with him on the decorating of our Hoboken Brownstone in 2000. Greg has impeccable taste, is very professional and after two lengthy projects we are proud to call him a friend. Rich and Hudson Home were instrumental in furnishing our new home in NY. We purchased a beautiful dining set for our formal dining room, with custom upholstered chairs. And a gorgeous faux suede couch for our den among many other items. I have and do recommend both Feller Design and Hudson Home whenever anyone asks my opinion.

Working with Greg is a true pleasure! He has a great sense of style and understands his client's needs. The shop is allows evolving and I look forward to my visits there each season.

Gregory Feller and Richard Bodin did the decor for a benefit we had at Olana, the historic home of painter Frederic Church, in Hudson, NY. They completely transformed a nondescript tent into an artistic extravaganza, creating incredible shadow boxes to house 10 reproductions of Church's paintings complete with lights to illuminate the images. Otherwise the decor was impeccably done, with lush plantings, brilliant lighting using the branches of birch trees as the base of the lamps, and elaborate lighting from the ceiling. All creative, inventive, playful and exquisite. To see them in action was an eye opener - they had a steady team of workers and volunteers, all with specific tasks -- completely organized so they could have it ready exactly on time. A rousing success, all in all.

I love Hudson Home. Greg & Richard are a wonderful inspiration. Their store is a great place to visit for ideas and furnishings -items from candles to sofas. They are more than happy to take the time to show you fabrics, bounce around ideas and give you advise. I LOVE to shop and this is my all time favorite store.

I have worked with the folks at Hudson Home over the past five years as I have completely renovated and refurbished my 1860 home. Over time, I have bought a large comforatable couch, living room chairs, an ottoman, side tables kitchen chairs, a glass coffee table, a bed, lamps, a chandelier and wallpaper from them! They have been true design collaborators. They keep great records (and memories) of my purchases so it has been easy to coordinate fabrics, textures and style making the entire house "work." They never impose design ideas on me. Rather, they work with me to bring my ideas to fruition and make suggestions to help me clarify my thoughts on the look I want -- and they are not afraid to think out of the box. They are very welcoming and friendly people, and have made my refurbishing process fun. I so glad that I found them, and look forward to continuing to work with them!

Hudson Home and Greg Feller are outstanding and have done 3 renovations for me in the US and internationally. Greg has a stellar design aesthetic that works in any setting - whether a loft in Hoboken, a Park Avenue apartment or a home on a golf estate in Botswana. Combined with the sourcing resources of Hudson Home you get great value for money. Greg really listens to his clients vision and ideas and enables you to be part of the creative process. Rich handles logistics flawlessly with the attention to detail and follow-up required for a successful project.

We are now in the midst of our second project with Greg and Hudson Home. We are restoring and renovating a Victorian house. As with our first project, Greg has been hands on and full of amazing ideas. What was once a dark, closed off space has become open and filled with light. Greg is so open to our ideas and finding ways to incorporate them into the project - he is not invested in implementing his "vision" at the expense of our tastes and wishes. Although we live in another state, he makes frequent site visits and is available by phone, text and email. Working with Rich and the staff at Hudson Home has also been a pleasure and Rich is on top of any issues that might arise. We are not finished with the project but the transformation of our home is remarkable. When it is finished, I know we will get the same response we got when people saw our first home designed by Greg - "Who is your interior designer and how can I contact him?"
