About Us

Janie Hungerford established Hungerford Interior Design in 2010 after graduating in 2006 from The New School / Parsons School of Interior Design in New York City. She began her career in New York City working in interior design, and subsequently as an interior designer for a well known design firm here in Vancouver. Janie is involved in all aspects of each project, both interior and exterior, and from start to finish. She has collaborated in designing the interiors of South Creek Landing, a boutique condominium project in Vancouver, Midtown, classic brick brownstones in Vancouver, as well as MacPherson Walk, a 345 unit condominium, apartment and townhouse development in Burnaby, BC, which was a finalist for 5 Georgie Awards and winner of one; and finalist for 4 National SAM Awards. Janie has also designed interiors for numerous private residences in Vancouver, and is successfully expanding her business, while being passionate and committed to excellence in design and personal service to all of her clients.
