Laura Wireman designed a wonderful project for us two years back. We asked her to convert an unused, dark downstairs bedroom into an ensuite master bath, allowing us to age in place. It is a bright, beautiful and supremely functional space for my wife and I. Laura designed my wife's previous home in Carlsbad including an elegant kitchen/living room and another luxurious master bath/bedroom. We wouldn't think of using anyone else for our latest project. To this day, we remark to each other on how much we love our bathroom! We especially appreciate its spaciousness. The shower is large enough for us both to use on either end, with room to spare. The adjoining extra deep tub is the definition of luxury. It will never go out of style yet transitions seamlessly with our more relaxed feeling in the rest of the first floor's living spaces. Laura worked smoothly with our general contractor, tile specialist, and other craftspeople to create this space. It was a joy to watch them bring Laura's vision to life. Anticipating being in our home for several more years, we wanted to make our bath nearly ADA compliant. Imagine our surprise that Laura was able to incorporate everything we asked for, and yet no one who has seen the space has noticed. We don't know exactly how she did it, it must be Innerspace Design magic - transforming a dark, small empty room into our favorite room in the house. Even as our needs change as we age, we know we are able to comfortably continue to enjoy home and our luxury hotel ensuite bath.

We found Laura throught the Houzz website. She did a wonderful job from start to finish for our main bath remodel. Laura is very knowledgeable and resourceful. She is always available for appointments and material shopping trips. Her lovely personality makes her easy to work with. Now we have our dream bathroom with a calming Zen feel. Thanks again!

We were at Brazilian Exotic Granite in San Marcos looking at slabs. I noticed Laura with a client. We observed her presentation oozing with knowledge of selection and process. Afterwards, we asked her for a card. After talking with others designers, we knew Laura was the designer for us. Her strongest strength is she listens to both wife’s and husband’s differing opinions, then offers a design, which pleased both of us. Laura designed both of our bathrooms, which is just pure luxury. I love color, 17 colors later, our house is beautiful, inviting, and cozy. She helped place all of our art and every time someone visits, there’s always comments connected to our art. One of the greatest things with Laura, she has 20 year working relations with trade people. She would set up appointments and accompany us various businesses and stores to purchase: granite, lighting, cabinets, flooring, paint, and furniture—we always got the “Laura Price”. (Way cheaper). As Laura stated, when we first chatted, I will do as much or as little as you want. My husband who was opposed to hiring a designer, now tells everyone, the best money we spent in the process of remodeling our home. Yes, we love our home, but we love Laura the person more.

Having Laura successfully complete a previous remodeling project of mine, it was a no brainer to ask her for her services on my next remodeling project. The project entailed a complete gut and remodel of two bathrooms which shared a wall. Walls were moved, plumbing was relocated, and everything was replaced. Laura ascertains your needs and wants by using her superb intuitive listening skills. She easily dials into your design likes and dislikes without prejudice. She delivers what you want. Laura is a master at space planning and knows how to make every inch count when designing a space. This is especially critical when designing a small space where maximum storage is required. Laura spends careful time drafting out construction documents in detail and then goes over every aspect with you. She takes the time to make all adjustments along the way. The cabinet fabricator for my project told me her documents are the best he has ever used. Her detailed documents make it almost impossible for last-minute errors or adjustments. Every ¼ inch is accounted for in every direction. Laura is incredibly helpful in material selection. Using her ability to know what you want makes selection of finishes effortless and so much fun!! She accounts for every detail large and small - including flower arrangements she did herself! I was so surprised and amazed at the breadth of her artistic talent. Laura has the best personality. I always look forward to and enjoy spending time with her. She is friendly, patient, and such a good listener - on top of being a master in her craft. You cannot go wrong with choosing her as your designer.

From the moment we met Laura Wireman of Innerspace Design we knew we'd finally found the designer for us! We had previously met with four other designers, all very accomplished and came from referrals, but we just weren't making the connection we knew was needed if we were to achieve our goal of having a distinctive design = a unique look and feel that was amazing but not overwhelming, contemporary yet timeless, and most importantly to us, warm and welcoming to all. In the first meeting we had with Laura we didn't talk that much about design concepts but instead spent most of our time just getting acquainted. She asked a lot of questions about what we liked and didn't like. What our goals were. She walked our property both inside and out. And by the time we started to talk about design concepts for the remodel it was like we were already on the same page. Unbelieve\able! The process from there was an incredible journey - from concept to drawings to materials, finishes, cabinets, flooring, lighting, appliances, to selecting a GC, evaluating bids, watching over construction, to staying on budget - Laura was there every strep of the way ensuring every detail was perfect and, if it wasn't, working with the GC to make it right! Needless to say we are extremely happy with the final product. Laura took us to a place beyond our imagination and exceeded all of our expectations. And, unlike some nightmares we've heard from friends who have completed major remodels, our project was actually stress-free and fun! Best of all we have a new friend! So, to anyone looking for an interior designer, we highly recommend you meet with Laura - we're confident you will be delighted!

Laura was great to work with! She was prompt, efficient and always considered our desires when designing our interiors. She coordinated the contractors very well and was very creative. Last year, I decided to remodel an existing 20’ x 22’ game room that had been converted from a garage by a previous owner. I needed several new areas: a laundry room, bedroom/bath/kitchenette and hallway connecting the rest of the house to the current garage. With so many new areas to be created in a relatively small space, I knew I needed a professional designer. Throughout several months researching for a designer, I book marked a couple dozen prospects. I wanted someone with experience, ASID certified, with good recommendations and skilled at space planning. When I finally decided it was time, I went through my list to choose three to interview. I was surprised to find that I had bookmarked one person three times! That was Laura Wireman. So, I included her in the list of three that I scheduled to interview. Well, she was the first interview and after meeting Laura, I hired her on the spot and canceled the other two scheduled interviews. During our initial meeting it was clear that Laura had what I was looking for and more. She was friendly, professional, a good listener and recorded all my needs and wants. I explained what I thought the general layout could be. She agreed and explained her approach to helping clients achieve their goals. She showed me examples of her work and from that meeting I could tell I would have great rapport with her. Laura is an instinctual designer with a divine, innate ability to know her client. She just ‘knows’ your aesthetic style. She truly understood me, my needs and wants. She made every square inch count not only to function, but also created a space that feels good and looks beautiful. What’s more, she is extremely organized! Every meeting, whether it was to choose tile, fixtures, or color, she documented the choices and sent them to me. She carried a rolling plastic bin to each meeting, which was solely dedicated to my project. In the bin she kept samples of choices made, sketches, the initial blueprint design with modifications, everything pertaining to my project. And boy can she draw! If I needed to visualize something before making a decision or she could tell I was struggling to visualize something, she would make a sketch on the fly within minutes! Laura was always responsive to my calls, texts or emails. I always looked forward to each of my ‘Laura’ meetings. The meetings were so enjoyable and fun. I hired Laura Wireman to redecorate our family room. She was a joy to work with, full of positive energy and super creative! I love color in my home but didn’t know what to do after that. Laura paid attention to the styles and tastes I prefer and was able to give me exactly what I wanted. Laura custom designed all of the furniture, including material made specifically for two chairs. She found an artist to recreate a huge and vibrant painting that’s a focal point in the room. Laura was very focused on quality which I really appreciated. She paid attention to every detail and was always there to oversee all aspects of our project. The results are fabulous! Laura is very professional in her job and obviously loves what she does. She’s also a whole lot of fun and I had an amazing time working with her! While we were working on our family room my husband and I decided to gut and renovate our boring backyard. We asked Laura to help with the design. We knew we wanted three specific things: a kitchen and eating area, a raised and covered pavilion with a fireplace, and a jacuzzi. We wanted a beautiful party yard! Laura’s finished design incorporated everything in perfect proportions to the size of our yard and it actually seems larger now. All the elements blend well together. Since there is so much hardscape, Laura designed many built in planters and filled them with tropical plants and palms to balance the look. The result is gorgeous! The scope of this project and materials needed was massive. In addition to her design work she helped us find an excellent contractor, used all her resources to find the right materials, and oversaw every detail from start to finish. We hired Laura through a recommendation from a close friend. We were not disappointed! Laura met with us and we were immediately on the same page. She listened to our ideas and helped us to hone in on a style for our kitchen renovation. She took her time with the intricacies of every detail. Once the drawings were complete, Laura helped us to find a contractor and was at every pre-construction meeting, to be sure that we were all on the same page and answer any questions. Laura was available to us at every step of the way through the construction process, and always with a smile and bubbly personality! We were referred to Laura from our roofer. It was a great introduction because Laura helped transform the outside of our home! Once we put a new roof on our house the outside of our house needed a complete make over to match up with the new roof. Laura was very helpful picking out beautiful paint colors and stone for the exterior. She was able to help us transform our home into an elegant ranch style house on a tight budget. Her resources were outstanding and helped save us a lot of money. We also had her design our new landscape plan which we love. Laura is very pleasant to work with and a very talented designer with excellent resources! I would highly recommend her.

Laura listened to our ideas, asked us questions about how we wanted to use the space and really got to know us. Basically it was one stop shopping...design ideas, technical drawings, material selections, project management and a fantastic attention to details. The design included outdoor hardscape, landscape, modifications to the house and interior design. The experience and knowledge of the market was invaluable from finding contractors, choosing materials and having the perfect custom pieces made!
