“Seeing the delighted look on people’s faces when I finish designing is my favorite part.” That’s what makes Lynn Smith such a breath of fresh air. Her philosophy of “It’s not about me; it's about you” frees her to uncover a client's personal sense of style — and make it shine.
Creative, yet down to earth. Stylish, yet accessible. Lynn provides her clients with a trained eye for color, design and space that can make the ordinary seem extraordinary. And she
can do it in a myriad of ways. Rearranging your furniture and artwork. Putting a family heirloom in the spotlight. Making suggestions on flooring, cabinets and fabrics. Or even helping you choose the right accents to enliven your home at the holidays.
With 25 years of experience in the arts, Lynn knows her stuff. In 1993, she moved from the San Francisco area to Pittsburgh, where she expanded her painting business to interior arrangement. And she remains au courant on design trends thanks to her passion for continuing education.
Over the years, this artist has had her brushes with fame, as well. She’s been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh Tribune Review and Pittsburgh Business Times, as well as on HGTV’s hit show, Decorating Cents; and on KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh.
Lynn is a member of IRIS, Interior Redesign Industry Specialists and recently received the award for “Best Redesigned Living Room” at the National Conference; a prestigious award nominated by her peers. But her most coveted credential is her list of happy clients, including business, sports, entertainment and cultural figures from London, California and New York to Ohio, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
