I’ve worked with Shelley on numerous projects and she truly cares about her clients. She keeps everything so organized and puts them at ease when it comes to remodeling their individual spaces. Every single project she works on is custom to meet the clients needs and her attention to detail is impeccable! Her eye for color never ceases to amaze me. She really has a gift for bringing a vision to life. Shelley will treat you like family and she just has a way of making you feel like the most important person in the world. Shelley is just phenomenal. I found her on Houzz and emailed her. She replied that day and arranged to meet us at the house soon after. She listened to our ideas, shared her preliminary thoughts, and we liked her immediately. She drew up plans that looked great. We ended up making major renovations to a 1954 house and it looked fantastic afterwards. Shelley is creative, responsive, thoughtful, a good listener, kept things moving at a good pace, and we trusted her completely. We ended up selling the house this summer due to a relocation and had an estate sale beforehand. So many people commented on how nice the renovations were and wanted to know who did them. She definitely helped us add value to that house. She's the best.

Shelley is an excellent interior designer. I did not know where to begin when we updated our family room. I called Shelley and after meeting with her she quickly drew up plans for our room which included furniture placement, choices for new furniture, window treatments and new rugs. The end result was great. It was a refresh the room needed all within budget.

She is a perfectionist which is so important when you have someone handling any renovation/design project. We worked with Shelley for a complete gut and renovation of a single-story home constructed in 1983. In all, we remodeled two bathrooms, a kitchen, and ripped out tile and installed new flooring. The renovation included a lot of plumbing footprint changes, removal of a load-bearing wall, and installation of a beam. By the end of the project, we turned a dark and dreary 80’s house into a light and bright, transitional Acadian-style home. We bought the home in September 2020, began renovations in October 2020, and completed all major work by the end of April 2021 -- this renovation took 7 months. Shelley met with us while we were in the inspection period in August 2020 and had initial plans and drawings for the redesign to us within 2-3 weeks. We had estimates from most contractors in another 2-3 weeks and began the demo in mid-October. Shelley guided us through the whole process, from finalizing the design, selecting materials, purchasing appliances, and working with vendors. It was so easy to get paralyzed by all the choices and options available to us, so we trusted her to guide us in the right direction & eliminate choices that wouldn’t have worked for us. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Thank you, Shelley! The house is nearer to its full potential now!

Shelley is a great designer! Wonderful ideas for my new house. I want my house to be modern yet have a traditional and timeless style and Shelley is helping me achieve this. She has helped me with floor plan design, paint colors (interior and exterior), cabinet design, flooring, countertops, window coverings and everything needed to put together a perfect house. House will soon be complete and I look forward to getting Shelley to help me after the move in.. buying new furniture pieces and accessories as well as working my present furniture and antiques into my new home. I could not be more pleased with the work Shelley Landry did on my primary bathroom renovation. Shelley was energetic, knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Her sense of design and attention to detail were exceptional! Shelley has access to excellent skilled workers/subcontractors/trades who are responsible and do quality work. She also knows where to source the right products and materials, and she has a good working relationship with these businesses. Shelley listened to my ideas, gave me lots of options, and continually checked in to make sure I was happy and satisfied with the progress and product. An initial budget was set, and Shelley was respectful of it, never spending money without first talking to me. When issues and questions occurred, Shelley was very accessible and addressed them quickly and effectively. She was very hands on throughout the process and was punctual and organized. She also did an excellent job of scheduling the work, I always knew who was coming and when, which meant there was little down time in the project. We had the pleasure of working with Shelley Landry at Interior Design Group. We remodeled our primary bathroom with her. Upon our speaking casually about our project, Shelley had us moving very quickly. We’d interviewed several contractors who we liked, but they were not in any hurry to help us! Shelley acted quickly! She and her contractors were prompt, clean, and respectful. Our bathroom took about 4-5 weeks! Shelley is very talented as a decorator too. I appreciated her insight and guidance on choosing products that were not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing! Having contractors in your home making improvements and repairs is very unsettling. This experience was made easier by the workers being respectful to us and our home, being prompt and clean! I’d absolutely encourage anyone needing to make changes to their home or businesses to call Shelley Landry.

From the moment I met her, we just “clicked!” She’s been in the design business for three decades and her knowledge is incredible. I know that I can count on her for every aspect of our renovations. Shelly is highly professional. She goes out of her way in helping her clients design and chose the colors and materials they need for their remodeling project. I can highly recommend Shelley Landry as an interior decorator. She is a great asset when it comes to selecting flooring, countertops, paint colors, and anything else you need advise on for your project. She has a lot of sources where she can find what you need. She is great at keeping everything coordinated.

This was a complete house remodel. She had a comprehensive plan that was incredibly thorough including adding windows, remodeling kitchen, bathrooms, living room, pool area and more. Our house was initially built as a spec house by a builder with little imagination and less understanding of designing for livability, so it needed more than just new paint colors. Shelley’s interior design ability is amazing. She repositioned walls, inserted built in cabinets, turned dead unusable space to creative closets and storage niches. She closed off some out of position doors, opened rooms to nature by adding beautiful windows which gave us gorgeous views and seemed to expand room size. We went from walled off tight spaces to open, airy, flowing spaces suitable for multiple uses, yet she expertly carved out some more intimate areas in the process. The bathroom turnaround was beyond description. She opened an old dingy shower to a modern glorious wonder. She replaced big store utilitarian cabinets with user friendly custom designer cabinets with knock-out looks and much improved utility of space – turning ugly and inefficient use of space to beautiful and fun to use. Our neighbors could not believe the transition. Speaking of new paint colors, she did that too and it made an incredible difference in concert with the redesign work. Next, she introduced furniture that allowed us to enjoy the beauty of our new home in comfort and with an open invitation to visitors to equally enjoy. While we had seen before and after photos of some of her prior work, we did not think it was possible to turn our ugly duckling into the swan we desired but could not afford. She accomplished this all under budget delivering a tremendous enhancement in the value; in fact, the value enhancement significantly exceeded the expense. So, we gained in value, beauty and comfort. Every time we run home, we think of the home run she delivered for us!

Shelley did a fantastic job helping us to remodel our home. She understood exactly the style we were looking for and our home came out better than we ever imagined it would. She helped to select all finishes, flooring, paint colors, fixtures, etc. Shelley always did what she said she would and went above and beyond when necessary to help us complete the job. Shelley is really great at getting spaces to match. We have a old traditional house that has some vintage aspects to it and she helped us get our colors together so that we didn't brought new young life into the space. We completed some interior painting and renovations as well as the entire exterior painted. She helped match our old roof color to the new exterior color. Additionally she gave us some ideas as to how we can use the space and expand it without making an ugly mess. She has a very practical way of designing and helps get your budget and contractors all lined up to give you the best picture possible of what is going on.

Shelley Landry has helped me on many projects. The most recent was updating curtains and furniture in bedrooms. She always exceeds my expectations. She is professional, works quickly and efficiently. She listens to what I want, but makes thoughtful and helpful suggestions. She always stays within my budget. I am about to remodel and update all the bathrooms in my house and will definitely be using her. I recommend without reservation.
