We recently purchased blinds for our home with the help of Natalie from the Interior Design Shoppe and are very pleased with our purchase and the assistance we received. We did receive a second quote from another reputable blind store and although less expensive many details were left out from this company which, had we purchased through them would not have been happy. Natalie was readily available, knowledgeable and left no “stone unturned” when providing recommendations and details. Along with our blinds she gave us renovation ideas and was always personable and approachable. We would not hesitate to recommend her. Keep up the great work you do Natalie!

This was a great firm to work with. The designers were attentive and respectful in our meetings. They made bold but thoughtful suggestions. I was nervous about trying new things but I’ve been happy with the outcomes! Lovely team - easy to talk to and great listeners.

Sylvie and Natalie did a great job of designing and overseeing the renovation of the two bedrooms in my condo. They had great ideas to address my specific wants and concerns. This was my first real reno experience and they absolutely did their best to make it as easy as possible. They were always so professional and made the entire process very "turn key" for me. I am so happy with the end result. I have since asked them to source items for other areas in my home and I hope to work with them on projects in the future.

I am so happy with my home renovation project, Natalie did such an awesome job redesigning our older home. We had very unique issues with our home and when I needed some changes to suit our needs she figured it out and quickly. We would never had been able to figure this out on our own. I am so thankful to have worked with her and her team. I highly recommend to anyone to work with these ladies.

Working with the Interior Design Shoppe to space plan and decorate our living room space in our house was a breeze! From the first meeting to the final touches on the room, we couldn't have asked for an more smooth process. Sylvie and Natalie took the time to get to know us and our style so well that their initial selections / plan for the space was perfect! All of the project updates were timely and information on deliveries and pickups of furniture and decor seamless; we wouldn't hesitate to work with them again! We absolutely ADORE our new space!

We used the Design Shoppe to do a design consult via Skype. We loved working with Sylvie, she had great ideas, but also listened to what we were drawn to in terms of style, functionality and budget. Due to the fact that our budget was smaller, Sylvie was able to make suggestions as for immediate and long term plans - this way we could 'chip away' at the process, making changes and purchases as our budget allowed. It has now been 3 months since our consult, and I feel like our living space has been transformed! We made some small changes in terms of rearranging or taking away existing furniture- as suggested by Sylvie, and we made some larger purchases (in the form of a new rug and sofa) and some smaller purchases (new lighting in 3 rooms)- also following Sylvie's suggestions. Next up is a custom desk for our small in-home office, which we are looking forward to. In the end we were provided with notes, drawings, and a vision board.. The pinterest board was the most helpful for me, as it gave me an idea as to exactly what Sylvie had in mind in terms of textures, colours and pieces. It was a great jumping off point, since we were sourcing items ourselves. I loved the flexibility, care and time that Sylvie put into helping us with our space - even though it was a smaller job for the Shoppe. I can't wait to work with her again :)

We had an ongoing issue with one of the manufacturers and they worked tirelessly until it was resolved in our favour. We were eager to convert the bonus space on the top floor of our semi-detached, 4-story inner city home from a dated bedroom to a stylish and functional family room. Replacing the carpet with hardwood was an easy decision; however, I kept running into design challenges that needed to be resolved before I could install those hardwood floors. As a couple of examples, the footprint of the cabinetry surrounding the fireplace, originally installed in the late eighties, was placed at an angle which took up more space than needed, and we were also unsure if the existing bar area would fit a wine fridge. So the hardwood floors were the least of my concerns. I also had future renovations in mind for the other floors and I wanted to ensure the choices I made today would fit with my overall vision of the home. As I kept running into dead ends, I realized the value of having a design professional assist with turning my somewhat vague vision into reality. We had a budget in mind and the thought of spending such a significant amount of money without fully thinking through all of the possibilities and options seemed unwise. So I began my search for the right design firm. I was drawn to the Interior Design Shoppe’s work, and their past clients’ positive reviews were reassuring. After my initial meeting with Sylvie, I was confident in my choice. When they presented me with their design plan, I became very excited as it exceeded my expectations and I was eager to get started. Sylvie and her team presented options in consideration of our budget, inherently understanding where to splurge and where the vision wouldn’t be compromised by using budget friendly selections. As I tend to be a bit of a control freak, Sylvie sent me to her favorite stores where I happily confirmed or changed up the décor and materials selection (more often choosing the more expensive option!). Sylvie was patient with me when I was indecisive and kindly incorporated existing pieces in the design that maybe would not have been her first choice. Once the major decisions were finalized, Natalie and the project management team organized the trades into a tight 3-month timeline. They communicated the project plan and kept us informed if there were any upcoming changes to it. The trades they chose provided quality workmanship and were very professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The project came in only one month delayed due to materials that were backordered, which we found to be very reasonable. I’m extremely pleased with our new family room and we absolutely love being in the space. I really enjoyed working with Sylvie, Natalie and the team. They were easy to communicate with, listened to our vision, and came up with ideas that I would not have thought of on my own. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend the Interior Design Shoppe for a future project.

Sylvie's professionalism and customer service is top notch! I hired Sylvie for a consultation for a client and was not disappointed. During a thorough but timely walk through the home, she listened to the concerns and ideas brought forth by myself and my clients. The follow-up to the in-person consultation was a 3-option quote that was still flexible enough for my clients to rework to their needs. I was very pleased with the options presented and will definitely use her again!
