About Us

Interior Design Specialist | For Residential & Commercial Projects I have been designing for 27 years and what can I say? I love what I do. I see design in everything—the veins of a leaf, the blue contrast of the sky against a stand of trees, the iris of a human eye. All things, whether natural or man-made, have form, function, colour and balance. Even ephemeral beauty can be appreciated in these terms: sunlight glinting through mist can be represented by a fabric such as organza. The beauty of a golden autumn day can be "felt" by painting a room in just the right shade of yellow. Emotions are often enhanced by our surroundings. Blues and greens can be calming, oranges and reds uplifting. Soft textures are comforting and smooth textures energizing. Our emotions and lives are unique, and as we change, we need our living spaces to change. Our journeys are our own and our interiors reflect that. Our stories are told by the colours and objects we weave into our homes and offices. Writing these stories is an art and you are the artist—let me inspire you to start your story today.

Blinda transformed our 1980s “house” into a beautiful arts and crafts “home”. For many years, I have been inspired by the warmth of the rich natural elements of arts and crafts design and believed the only path to achieve that was to purchase an original period home. Blinda skillfully designed a stunning living area, bathroom, and kitchen renovation that delivered to my vision in our existing house.

I so enjoyed working with you to create such an amazing space. The quarter sawn oak of the custom crafted kitchen, oversized granite island & wine bar, hardwood floors, amazing fireplace mantel and little jewel of an ensuite came together to create a perfect Arts & Crafts Bungalow.

Blinda has been such a great find! She has helped us on several design projects and was always professional, unknowable and resourceful. Blinda assisted us when we redesigned our kitchen, updated the exterior of our house and also was instrumental in designing our Business center (boutique style offices for rent). She most recently guided us to choose a piece of art work for our great room wall. Every project with Blinda has been fantastic and we are thrilled with the outcome! Blinda's strength is her ability to get to know you and to listen to what you like and want. She gives excellent guidance to couples who may not always agree on design choices! She expertly was able to mediate between my husband and me on all these projects and work towards a result that we both loved. Even though we have very different tastes. Not an easy task! I highly recommend using Blinda!

Blinda truly listened to us and we now have a unique home that meets our needs (disability) and to reduce our carbon footprint. Different than all the houses on our street, people who pass by, always state they wanted to see inside, when they do comments like - awesome, beautiful, and stunning. Our home is an open concept with cathedral ceilings, radiant heating, and acid colored cement floors. The bachelor suite over the garage covers all our overheads. Blinda was very professional working with other trades and us. met all deadlines, stayed within budget and has real vision. We highly recommend her.

Blinda caught my vision immediately and was (and still is) an amazing adviser and 'sounding board' during construction.
