Despite desperately needing it, even just THINKING about remodeling our second floor gave me anxiety. Who do I hire? What is my style, I mean, I like EVERYTHING I see on HGTV? What if I pick the wrong materials? What if “this” doesn’t go with “that”? What if I regret spending ALL THAT MONEY?! And then I met Nicole Jackson. Anxiety be-gone. While I was getting estimates from a few general contractors my sister referred me to Nicole. Nicole came to our house for a consultation. We walked through our second floor that contained three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and this very under-utilized bonus space. Nicole could see our vision to create a master bedroom en-suite but also started asking, “What about doing this or doing that?” She gave ideas I never thought about, and she was right. With a large rolodex or proven suppliers and tradespeople, Nicole introduced us to another contractor, Chandler Soto to GC the project. He gave us a bid and although it wasn’t the lowest, he provided details that other contractors didn’t. That made me more comfortable. It was a huge bonus too that Chandler and Nicole had already been working together professionally for a long time. We were ready to go. I studied so many designs on the internet and sent gobs of images to Nicole. She got a feel for what I liked (it really wasn’t EVERYTHING) and guided me through final selections of materials. Nicole got to know me too so when I was a little nervous about choosing a less-than-boring quartz, she said, “Have fun with it!” And again, she was right. Every day I look at our quartz countertop, I smile. I love it. Nicole is trustworthy, FUNNY, dependable, and KNOWS DESIGN. She has trusted suppliers and contractors. She’s a great counselor when you’re stuck on making decisions. When we remodel our kitchen and dining room, she will be by side again.

I have worked with Nicole for two years on a new Modern Mountain home. I could have not done this 12,000 sq. ft. home without Nicole's help. She helped me long before the home's design was completed between myself and the general contractor. I needed more than average clients because I am single and needed help with color coordination outdoors and indoors. The style of this home is not one typically seen in Wisconsin. It was not a problem for Nicole. She knew how to guide me with selections of materials, and the furnishings are beautiful. You know you have a beautiful home when your sub-contractors continually tell you this is the most beautiful and cool house they ever worked on. Nicole was by my side with all of the visits to contractors and with product selections. I wish I could show more than six photos of this home. My friends have all loved seeing this fabulous home. You are greeted in the foyer with a 1250 lb. slab of quartzite hanging on the wall! It is 65,000,000 years old from a mine in Brazil. 5 bedrooms, 6 1/2 baths, each with their own unique tile. Walls with hidden rooms and furniture that is truly quality. My touch was adding a Guitar Wall. There is so much more. I've had parties with as many of 120 people at the house and my guests had nothing but glowing comments and wanted to know who my designer was. I am glad that at those parties I could actually introduce them to Nicole. If you work with Nicole, have her bring you over here so you can see her work for yourself.

Do you think hiring an interior designer is only for the wealthy? Are you tired of buying home decor pieces only to end up returning them? Have you tried every trendy paint color to find that none of them work in your space? Well, that was me until I was blessed to find Nicole. What started out as a paint color consult turned into so much more! I loved the colors she chose so much that I ended up hiring Nicole to help me pick out everything for my bathroom remodel. After scouring the internet for hours and hours over months and months and buying and returning tile samples, Nicole helped me pick out everything in a little over an hour. She saved me so much time and mental energy, and I absolutely LOVE the end result! This led to her helping me with light fixtures, drapes, art, rugs, and some new furniture. I now have a calm, relaxing, and cohesive space. Nicole really listened to what I was trying to accomplish. She was wonderful to work with every step of the way. She gave me ideas that I would have never thought of, and she really took my opinion to heart to find just what I was looking for. Having moved into a brand new house without back splash, lots of white walls and no idea where to start, Nicole was incredibly helpful in helping us to pick out tiles and paint colors. She was also very helpful brainstorming ideas for wall decor. She also provided referrals to contractors who could execute the projects in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. Nicole helped us with a whole house remodel for a home we purchased in Lake Country. This was enormous project that literally changed out all the flooring, woodwork, interior and exterior paint, all the bathrooms, the entire kitchen, and the fireplace. Nicole just guided me through a master bath remodel and a guest bath remodel and I am so happy with the finished products! I can’t believe how amazing my bathrooms look! Nicole is absolutely fantastic. I moved into a new house with an unfinished basement and was a little overwhelmed with what to do. Nicole/interior motives was amazing to work with right from the start. I interviewed 3 different companies to help me with completely remodeling a room and turning it into a craft room. Nicole had never done a craft room before but she clearly had the confidence to do it. We connected right away and she had a really good idea of what I was looking for right from the get go. Nicole was wonderful to work with. We did not do a major renovation, but we did have multiple rooms to update. From paint colors to furniture, even stone for our fireplace, she helped us pull everything together. This is a Phase 1 review. My builder recommended Nicole for design ideas for the exterior and interior of new 10,000 sq. ft. home. Being single I really needed help. First, with exterior help from stone work to paint and stain colors to doors, windows and hardware. Next, Nicole attended and scheduled all of the sub-contractor meetings. There are so many decisions to make, much less on a house this size. Nicole listened to my ideas for each room and then helped me improve those ideas. When I didn't know what to do she was there with a variety of ideas to think about. What was incredibly helpful was for me to have some inspiration photos for the exterior of the home and for specific rooms in the house. Those cast a vision and Nicole was right on board with helping those ideas become a reality. I am excited for construction to begin in April, 2021 and for Nicole and I to start working on the interior decorating and the pool and patio area furnishings. February 11, 2022 We now have the home enclosed with finish carpentry, tile, painting, masonry and the pool completed in November. Attached are a few photos from the past couple of months and an idea of how much Nicole did with design on this 10,300 sq. ft. Modern Mountain home. Fun to compare the blueprint photos before there was a hole in the ground. This home will be spectacular.

My husband and I worked with Nichole on a kitchen and great room remodel this past year. She's a patient listener, offers great ideas, brings an unparalleled work ethic as well as warmth and humor. There was no challenge too big for her. She is the quintessential professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with! I worked with Nicole Jackson (Interior Motives) on a master bedroom/bathroom remodel project. I had some ideas of what I wanted for a final look but needed a lot of help and Nicole assisted with critical design selections and details. She has a vast network of contractors and always had "a guy" who could complete some part of the project. When my tile guy retired before starting my project, Nicole called her tile guy and he stepped in and completed the project on time (see photo). Nicole is a great designer, who listens to her customers and then collaborates to turn design ideas into reality. I worked with Nicole at Interior Motives on a master bathroom and kitchen design and remodel. Nicole assisted with the overall design and managed all of the contractors. What I found unique was that everyone worked together in partnership. All of the contractors talked with one another to make sure that the design and timelines matched up. I have wanted to update several rooms in my home for some time but did not know where to start. Then I met Nicole. She is wonderful to work with. She selected paint colors and suggested an excellent painter who also removed the wallpaper. She shopped with me for tile and a new light fixture. Then she shopped for art work which I love. Interior Motives did an excellent job with my project. We have a small lake cottage kitchen that needed updating. Nicole helped me pick out the granite for the kitchen countertop and other miscellaneous things. She was always timely with her communication and very professional.
