Chuck R. I was looking to get a bar design and build. I found Janlee and everything fell into place. She had eye for design and her input was spot on. She worked endlessly on my project and finished on time. I was blown away of her vision she had. I waited 19 years for my bar she made my dream a reality. Thank you Jan. She was awesome and I would definitely use her again in the future.

Dear Sirs, I have worked with Interiors By JanLee as a subcontractor for many years helping out with various aspects, of the fulfillment of her designs. I specialize in hanging wall art and light and hardware replacement. A job doesn't go by when I am not taken back by her creativity and vision to transform a house into a home of peace and beauty. It's always a pleasure to work with Interiors By JanLee and to be a part of the process, which I have seen bring much pleasure and peace to those who have invested their hard earned resources to experience satisfaction for the investment that they have made.

Jan has managed a number of projects in my home both large and small over the past 8 years. Whatever it is, her work is outstanding. She takes the time to understand your taste and preferences, gives attention to every detail, has great design ideas, works within your budget, and is always reliable. Aside from that, there is none else I would rather have in my home.

Janlee has done several interior design projects in my home, starting with a 2018 re-design of my teenage daughter’s bedroom, which she did with intuitive magic, collaboration and respect. And on budget! That experience revealed her to be a family planning partner and friend whom we’ve included at every step of our design journey. Highly recommend!

JanLee is incredibly observant and has a talent for getting the details right! She was able to quickly conceptualize a unique vision for our home that beautifully paired our desires with the elements that were already in our house. Janlee helped turned our master bed room from a mismatched, sad state, into a relaxing, peaceful retreat. She had excellent taste and helped us determine what we were really looking for (we had a hard time pinning that down).

I have know Jan for 25 years! First time I was in her home noticed she had painted flowers on the wall in her daughter's room!!! No one was doing that 25 years ago-it was precious! Recently my husband woke up and said "painting the den today, pick a color!" WHAT? Immediately texted Jan...sent pics of my den and the wall that the color needed to blend with and she suggested Repost Gray! It is beautiful! Then needed curtains and accents....she said "throw those pillows out and get these"....I would have never thought of that! And all the help was done from Colorado to Alabama! What a gift to be able to "SEE" a room from so far away! So very grateful!!

I have worked with Jan for a while now and I have nothing to say except WOW! Jan is absolutely the best. Not only does she take all of your personal needs and wants into all of her design process, but she will take your goals and turn them into art. Her color theory is unbelievable as well as her artistic eye. She absolutely understands that she is transforming the place where you must live every day... and then she makes sure that the place she is transforming is a place that you'll love to be in. Jan is a gifted interior-designer. She transformed our master bedroom from boring to beautiful. She had great ideas and helpful suggestions. She is very experienced and knowledgeable.

Janlee consulted with me over the phone and through e-mail. She assisted me in finding a new sofa, pillows,an ottoman & accessories for my living room. She provided me with her designer discount through Wayfair, sent me numerous swatches of fabric and gave me the peace of mind of ordering a sofa online. ( I was very skeptical of purchasing a sofa online.) She also offered the option to travel to my home! (Wisconsin) I highly recommend Janlee

My condo was totally damaged in a flood caused by a toilet. Although my insurance was covering some of the replacement cost, I decided to hire JanLee to help me remodel some other things in my home while the restoration work was going on. My experience started out pretty well, although I wasn’t sure what I needed from her. I knew I needed help with putting together color palette, flooring, tiles, paint colors, etc. I explained all of this to JanLee but was unsure how much I could do with my budget. I gave her my top budget, and from what she stated to me, ]I thought most of my items could be accomplished with this amount. I naively gave her one third of my budget in good faith and she told me she would give me a detailed estimate. By the time she came back to me with the estimate, many of the things I had asked to be done were deleted from the work she could do with my budget. She was charging me by the hour and she stated she had spent a lot of time on working on the estimate for me and for my insurance company. I never received a design plan, color palette or anything visual except a few paint samples and samples of a few flooring tiles, back splashes, etc. But I was never given the name of the items, colors or where they were coming from. There was no “big picture” ever discussed so I had no idea what I would have for my money. She just told me to “trust her” and that she had spent many more hours on my project than she was charging me. Even though I knew she was charging me by the hour, her estimate stated that it would cost $775 for her to shop for 8 lights for me, not including the cost of the lights. The cost for her husband to put up my backsplash in my small kitchen was $1,000 (24 linear feet), without materials included. My insurance was paying for some of the painting in my condo, but not near the amount her husband wanted to charge me. I guess my assumption was since she was an "experienced" decorator, she could pick out lighting in less than 10 hours. When I finally found out what the costs were going to be, 1/3 of my budget was going to her for shopping for me, at least 1/3 went to labor and only 1/3 of my budget was going for actual materials of what I needed done. Even then, a lot of my needs were deleted from the estimate. When I finally decided I could not afford her prices or her husband’s prices, I asked for a refund of $2500 out of $3,000, agreeing to let her keep $500 for her troubles and time spent, although nothing had been done in my condo with any of that money. She only refunded $2000 of my money. She refused to refund the additional $500, which included charges for setting up a time for her husband to come out and paint but was postponed because of delays in the other work being completed. She never told me initially that I would be charged for delays and postponement of work. Her husband also wanted money just to come out and give me an estimate on other work that I might want done. I feel that this should have been included in my contract price. I have talked with other contractors/tradespeople who don't charge to come out to give estimates. This was a learning experience that I hope others can avoid with JanLee and her husband. The communication was not clear and don’t expect to see anything (design plans, etc.) upfront on what might be completed.

Always professional, reliable, and talented. Jan and Wayne have completed several projects in my home and I would highly recommend Interiors by Janlee to anybody.

I had he privilege of working with Jan and Wayne from Interiors by Janlee and I must say, it was the most professional but also personable experience for me. They take the time to really understand my taste, which made it easy for me to trust them. It took a huge weight off my shoulders. They did my living room and dining room. Wayne even hand made a beautiful mantel for my fireplace. These are people that, not only know their craft, but are also integrous, personable and a joy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone!

I must say that hiring Jan was one of my smartest decisions. I hired the company to decorate my small business. When all was said and done, I knew I wanted to have my house decorated as well. I love the little touches that was not expected. Jan listened to my every desire and made my vision come to life. I would most definitely recommend her services.

JanLee helped our family design my 12 year old daughter's room. Since we live in Montana, we did all of our communication through email. We sent photos and measurements of the room along with my daughter's favorite colors. We had a mural for the wall and needed assistance picking out furniture, drapes, and bedding to match the underwater mural. Jan Lee was very prompt with return emails along with sending photos of many items for my daughter to choose from (within her parents budget). Without a doubt, we would choose Jan Lee for our next project.

Working with Interiors By JanLee was a most wonderful and satisfying time. I had my bedroom and master bath painted, wallpapered and wonderfully designed. Jan was patient with me and gave great recommendations as I made decisions about decor. My bedroom is beautiful and beautifully displays my personality and love for color. After my bedroom was so perfect, I had my living room, dining room, and kitchen designed next. Absolutely stunning! My stair railing was painted an HGTV color called Peppercorn and I loved it so much that I had my kitchen cabinets painted the same color. Jan and her crew painted all my walls from the master bedroom to the living room/dining and the colors chosen along with the cabinets, has made our home a place of comfort and beauty. We have many compliments when guests come. The pictures on the walls, all the items of decor, reflect me and my love for color and beauty. Jan spent many hours searching for just the right item and always within my budget.

We hired Janlee to update our bedroom - this included painting the walls & ceiling, selecting wall hangings, decor and new bedding. The painting was excellent and we were pleased with the design/decor. The room became a pleasant place to hang out. Janlee worked very hard to give us choices and learn the things that were important to us. Job well done.

I love my rooms again! I started to decorate my living room, dining room and foyer and totally got stuck. Janlee Interiors came in and took what I already had, added in lovely details, and created beautiful spaces I'm at home in and I feel proud of. Janlee used my personality to make my house a reflection of me. She took my traditional tastes and added the unexpected in tasteful, interesting ways that I would not have been able to do myself. She took the stress away from decorating! What a wonderful company - integrity, honesty, excellent taste, hard-working. Such a pleasure to work with!

Janlee came to my business and home and discussed what I desired. She brought samples and then took additional time to bring in wallpaper. I tend not to do things "outside comfort zone." She discerned personality and then developed a decor. I actually have a room that I would never have done before meeting Janlee and absolutely love it.

I've done quite a bit of work for Interiors By JanLee (IJL) and must say that there isn't a more dedicated and personable contractor around. If fact, I did a painting bid for IJL for a customer who was, by all standards, a manipulator. Despite this crazy woman's demeanor, JanLee handled herself as a professional with overwhelming grace. ( I might not have been so gracious.) We recently completed a kitchen and guest room remodel as well. The customer and the customer was more than thankful for the work done to her high-end retro town home. As a contractor, I am happy with the integrity, attitude and character with which Interiors By JanLee consistently operates in and I recommend IJL highly.

Using my budget they shopped and purchased items for my selection; reviewed color preferences for paint and accessories; and added a few surprises for my delight to create an atmosphere for my entertaining and relaxation needs. I had several special items I wanted incorporated into the design and I couldn't be happier with the arrangement . I wasn't sure what I needed and after my consultation I knew we had it figured out! With patience and Janlee's know how they shopped around and found the best deals. They updated the look of my rooms, from painting; changing light fixtures; adding wallpaper; window treatments; or simply rearranging the furniture and wall art. They were considerate of my needs; time and finances and provided me with a home décor I enjoy sharing with my family and friends... and that's exactly what I wanted!
