10 years ago Kristen did a wonderful job redecorating our Litchfield County cottage, and last year she helped us with something completely different: a three-bedroom prewar cooperative apartment on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The result was spectacular, maintaining the charm of a hundred-year old apartment while adding bold and contemporary touches.

Kristin is thoughtful, creative, and most of all a listener. Not only was she full of good ideas, she took our ill-formed ideas and made them better. We are delighted with every phase of the project and would not hesitate to engage her for other projects.

Kristen has great taste and takes the time to listen taking into consideration your desires, your budget, and your home's style. She helped me decorate several rooms when I first moved into my home and I have specifically sought her out over the years to update and refresh. We've worked together to select and customize furniture, drapes, and bedding,..all with quality products and workmanship. It's time to get back in touch! Kristen is the most responsive, creative interior design professional I've ever worked with. She helped us completely update our LR, DR, Kit, FR and foyer, on time and on budget! She listened to us carefully and found creative, cost effective options to make our vision come true. One year later, everyone continues to comment on how great the house looks and not a day goes by that I don't still love every decision and detail. She's currently helping me update my home office. Next year we're planning to have her work on projects that include our bathroom and master bedroom. I wouldn't consider using anyone else!

Kristen Meissner is THE best. I have worked with her for almost 20 years. She really understands what works for me, while often suggesting something perfect that I'd never think of. When we recently decided to update 2 bathrooms, there were so many choices that are attractive, and also distracting. She helped me focus on materials that would work well together; decision making was made much easier. Each bathroom looks unique; we love both of them and are very happy with the end result. That's always the way it is with Kristen - she's easy to work with, responsive, innovative and flexible in her design ideas.

Kristen from KLM was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and insightful. I figured it would take 2+ hours to get all the bathroom design input I needed, but she is fast too. After 1.5 hours, I used more of her time to review other re-modeling projects underway. I would definitely use her again - and likely will.

We are extremely pleased with our work with Kristen Meissner, Interiors by KLM, LLC. She was recommended by a good friend who has beautiful taste, and we bought a sofa bed after looking at several. Her expertise and patience in our choosing not only the right sofa but also in using our own chosen fabric made the process easy. She followed it through until delivery. I have been working with Kristen Meissner for over a year and a half and she is by far the best designer/decorator I've worked with in the past 30 years. She is a creative, thoughtful and thorough professional who is a pleasure to deal with. I recently purchased a second home which had to be furnished. After taking care of the basics, i needed someone to help[ put the finishing and personal touches that make a house a home. She instinctively seemed to "get me" and proceeded to find all my rugs, fabrics for custom drapes, accent chairs and pillows, plus lighting fixtures, artwork and even pieces for the front porch. She redid the furniture arrangement in the LR which had been a problem, solving both the flow and harmony with the adjoining formal dining room. We completely redid the MBR. She also is extremely good at working within one's budget and extraordinarily creative in maximizing impact with pocket-book friendly price tags. My home is now absolutely gorgeous where everyone who walks in immediately comments on how lovely and comfortable it is. We continue to work together on additional items as a home is never totally finished. Down the road is the kitchen and master bath. I am so pleased with Kristen that I plan to have her help me with redoing some things in my NYC apt. I can not recommend her highly enough.. She is my designerl.
