We hired Samir approximately 19 years ago as our condo was under construction. He became our interior designer and also served as our project manager. We were immediately impressed that he truly listened to us and designed our home to reflect us and our design styles. We are still enjoying the condominium and it has stood the test of time. In addition he has helped us refurnish a home in Ohio. We then bought another home in Ohio and he helped us totally redesign that home to make it our own. Samir is professional, easy to work with and listens to the needs as well as style of his clients. I cannot imagine redesigning a home without his creativity and attention to the job.

We have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Hanna on 3 projects and are embarking on our fourth this week. Our first project was a 2500sf ocean front condo. This project called for flooring, cabinet refinishing, painting, Venetian plaster, window treatments, furnishings, accessories and art work. The project was managed entirely by Samir and the outcome was nothing short of spectacular. Our second project was a complete home remodel project where we saw Samir's drafting skills in addition to design and decorating. He drew out the new floorplan of this 3000 sq ft bayfront home in Nokomis and worked closely with the draftsman/architect and builder to complete this project. We gutted the entire kitchen, dining room, living room, master bedroom, and office and used the space to add a modern kitchen, dining room with barrel ceiling to add height, and two bathrooms. The new master bath is a masterpiece with floor to ceiling mosaic tile and custom lighting and vanities. I am probably using too many words to describe the projects so let me talk about Samir. He is honest. The relationship that he has with my wife and I is one where we can be confident that he will always point us in the right direction. Pricing is always fair...I am always watching the numbers and Samir has always worked within my budget. Samir is dependable. Every project has had tight time constraints due the nature of how we use our homes. They are vacation homes and we want to be able to enjoy them on our schedule. Samir recognizes that and delivers. In short, I would highly recommend Samir Hanna for any design/decorating project...from blueprint design to construction to finishes and decor. He is a joy to work with and a consummate professional.

We have lived in Sarasota since 1976. During our time here we have had 7 homes and condominiums. Before Samir we have used many many designers. In one home we wound up with three of them. Our most recent down size is a 3,000 square foot condominium which was virtually gutted and redone. Samir handled everything including hardscape design and almost all of the furnishings. These items included custom made wood finishes soffits and many creative items such as ceiling dropping TV. Many friends and professionals who come here admire his work. I wish I was young enough to look forward to another working design experience with Samir Hanna

Samir is the dream designer - of course, he had the artist eye required but he goes so far beyond that. Samir has a background in architecture which makes him invaluable if you are building a home. He works seamlessly with the builders. Samir has created 7 different homes for us over the past 20 years - several custom built, several complete remodels, and several design only projects. He is the consummate professional and can and does handle so many details- from custom built furniture to the placement of light switches. One of my favorite things about Samir is that he does not try to impose his taste and ideas on you. He will certainly present options but will always work tirelessly to give you the home you dreamed about. His fees are more than fair, I always felt that I got so much more than I paid for. In short - hire him. You will make a lifelong connection and friend.
