Working with Jen and her team was an incredible experience from start to finish. We began with a set of architectural plans for a sleek modern home, but Jen brought it to life by infusing it with color, warmth, and, most importantly, our family’s story. One of the most meaningful aspects of the project was how Jen incorporated my wife’s childhood memories of Ecuadorian textiles. She designed custom tile patterns that beautifully mimicked the look and feel of traditional rugs and textiles, creating a sense of connection and nostalgia that truly made our house feel special. Jen’s attention to detail was impeccable. She handled so many aspects of the project that we’re only now fully appreciating as we settle in. From the layout to the smallest finishes, everything was thought through, and nothing was overlooked. Everything we needed was in place, even things we had forgotten we’d selected. When challenges arose, Jen approached them with calm expertise, always ensuring the vision stayed intact. Jen didn’t just design our house—she inspired us to make bold choices and follow our heart rather than the trends. Jen and team do absolutely incredible work. She took a vague description of a vision I had for the project at the beginning and turned it into something truly amazing! The project was as involved as opening up most of the walls and redoing a significant amount of electrical / plumbing all the way up to every finish and furnishing being installed. Jen is an absolute pleasure to work and my husband I truly enjoyed working with her. She is an artist and amazing designer! She sees the vision from the tile colors, quartzite, flooring and even recommended a pop of color on our bar to create a contrast with our walnut cabinets. She even helped us with amazing towels, accessories and lighting and mirrors to complete our remodel. She is a wealth of knowledge and knows alot of great contractors that helped us like Aaron at Osgood Design who helped us create the most amazing wood bar and lighting that completed our kitchen. I cannot express how happy I am with everything Jen did for us! I would use her again for our next remodel for other properties.

Last year we had the pleasure of working with Jen on several projects in our home, including a significant garage transition. She was so great to work with. We were new to using interior design services and found Jen to be patient in our newness, as well as excited with us in the potential of our home. She understood our style and came up with such pretty designs - and also added really cool personal touches that we never would have thought of. Jen is the queen of interior planning and design!! She made our breakfast nook look nothing short of spectacular. She brought over so many great fabrics to pick from for our custom bay window seating and pillows. Her suggestions for all the other fixings, from our sparkling white Saarinen dining table to our leather poufs to our soft light fixture - were perfect. Every time I look at this beautiful corner in my home, I feel joy! The cherry on top is that she is a delight to work with and has the BEST energy. Working with Jen will be the best thing you ever did for your home.

Jen Jordan has wrought beautiful results in our living room, entry hallway, primary bedroom, and stairs and upstairs landing! The living room required the most attention, with all-new furniture, and the results are stunning. We also love the new look of our primary bedroom. Another wonderful service Jen rendered involved artfully arranging the copious number of framed family photos in our entry hallway, the stairwell, upstairs landing, and in our primary bedroom. We're elated!

Jen of J Jordan Creative has been a joy to work with. My husband and I worked with her to help us make a multitude of decisions on our new home build, largely about color and finishes. Besides being a pro and knowing her stuff inside out, she is fun and really listens. She was ready to jump right in whenever we were at a loss with great suggestions, and to finally decide when we had narrowed down choices. She helped us to make our new home more beautiful and to enjoy the process! We highly recommend her whether you want her to work in collaboration or design for you entirely.

Jen and I first connected when I relocated back to Santa Cruz in Fall of 2020. As a busy professional with a design background, I needed some assistance getting settled into my Seabright rental asap. Jen assisted with window coverings and custom bedding and upholstery. She listened to my input along the way, was collaborative and fun, and made the process easy. She also ended up doing more furniture sourcing and styling. I felt so much better working with her instead of trying to do it all myself. I highly recommend Jen, and I’m also happy to call her a friend.

Jen was such a pleasure to work with! With her amazing style and eye and her warm personality, she makes projects really fun. Her designs featured on Houzz felt in sync with my style and I didn't look any further. I would highly recommend Jen for any design project.

Jen and team have been a joy to work with. She helped me turn my bare bones and way too white of a house into a beautiful and cozy place that I am proud to call home. She has great connections with local artists and not so local artisans that helped me get some really special and unique pieces. Her team was able to expertly create mocks so my visual fiancé could get a good sense of how stuff would look. With her help I was able to get paint on the walls in my living room, den, primary bathroom, and a sweet mural in my powder room, add a headboard, dresser, and nightstands to my primary bedroom, complete my living room with sectional, media center, coffee table and the most amazing hand made/specially designed rug, and new backsplash in my kitchen (which was a LONG journey). I would highly recommend working with her - she has a great attitude and is tons of fun.

Jen has the rare combination of being efficient but flexible. With a background in architecture, she was able to visualize creative uses for my small space and give me a blueprint from which I could see and understand the next steps. Next, she was flexible with my preference is for using green materials. She was also gracefully assertive when I was about to make some bad aesthetic choices! I am very grateful for her expertise and her character.

What was really special about working with Jen was the way she made the experience feel personal - she was excellent at really listening and tuning in to what we wanted to create in the space before beginning to offer her (amazing) ideas and try them out. Once she got started, she held a great balance of generating ideas and trying out concepts, while moving the process along at a good pace. We are thrilled with the space and even have a secondary configuration to try out and see which one feels the best. We ended up with a design and space that feels welcoming and yet has a sense of flow to the space, and a couple of the seemingly subtle adjustments she made turned out to make a huge difference. Jen transformed my cramped space into a true sanctuary! She picked up on my hesitancy to let go of existing decor, and rearranged select pieces while adding some new items to the mix. I now have a home office and a more comfortable area to entertain guests, plus an overall sense of lightness and openness throughout the entire house. Now, it really feels like home: a genuinely comfortable place that invites calmness and creativity. Jen is a true professional who is patient, passionate, and a pleasure to work with!

Working with Jen on my remodel project has been a truly delightful experience! I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her. She has taken what could be a very overwhelming experience and made it nearly stress-free. She’s on top of all the details - researching options, talking with contractors, and double-checking to make sure everything is just right. She really listens to what I want and doesn’t try to impose a specific style on me, rather she implements MY style and makes great suggestions that I would never have considered. I have no doubt that she is saving me from making costly mistakes. Best of all is that she’s really fun to work. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Working with Jen was the second best decision I made this year. The first was adopting a dog, which nothing can compare to (to be fair). It’s hard to express how wonderful it was to work with Jen. She redesigned my home to be more comfortable and inspiring than I could have imagined. I’ve lived in my apartment for six years, but it hasn’t felt like the home I’ve wanted until now. Jen helped me to realize what I wanted, and transformed my place from a bachelor pad to a lovely space for hosting friends and creating shared memories. She understood my aesthetic better than I understood it myself (warm, natural colors, wood, classic, masculine). She provided a range of options within, below, and slightly above my budget. She took care of everything from ordering to tracking to installation. Most important, she became a friend. She is such a lovely and supportive person. She genuinely cared and poured her heart into the work. Every guest I’ve hosted in the month since Jen completed the redesign has expressed their love for space, unprompted. Jen helped me to create, and then to realize a vision for my home: the place I work, dream, fall in love, and heal from heartbreak. My one regret is that I didn’t work with Jen sooner to create the home I always wanted. I would work with her again in a heartbeat, and I plan to in the future.
