Joan is amazing. I cannot say enough good things about her. I downsized, tried to incorporate my older stuff into the new space, and become familiar with the functionality of the house. After some time, I knew the house needed many updates and multi-functional spaces. I did not have the time or confidence to tackle the project on my own. Joan answered my call and from the beginning, she understood my needs, style, and vision. She proceeded with a whole house makeover. She presented visuals of the end product, floor plans, colors, and furnishings. She led me out of my comfort zone. Helped me to re-imagine my home and set the mood for the house with a large total home remodel: sanding the popcorn ceiling, placing hardwood floors throughout, custom kitchen cabinets, great room, master bedroom, spa like on suite, rugs, draperies, lighting, and furnishings. She was on top of it, making certain everything went as originally planned, pandemic or not, and addressed details I would have never thought of or existed. Her professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail are impeccable. Joan is a delight to work with and surrounds herself with excellent contractors. I am overwhelmed with the unbelievable transformation and beauty of the final outcome. I cannot be more pleased or happier with my experience and would highly recommend her for any project, large or small.

Joan has a beautiful eye for colors and design. So far she has created a luxury laundry room— it’s gorgeous!— and converted a small ugly bathroom into a beautiful walk in linen closet. Right now she’s helping us redecorate our bedrooms and we are thrilled with the results. The colors, patterns, and furniture she pulls together are genius!

I have worked with Joan exclusively on two homes. She takes the time to listen to your needs, asks pertinent questions and really gets to know you before the project begins. Every step of the way she is involved with the contractors and supply people so she can always tell you where you are in the process. She works with the best contractors in all areas of home improvement so you know you can trust the person walking into your home. Her taste is impeccable, and any time I asked to see alternative solutions because I had changed my mind about cost or design, the alternatives were just as impressive from both standpoints. We are just now finishing up two bathroom remodels in my 100-year old home, and her design for both projects kept the feel of my home's age but with an updated, fresh look. I have seen the rooms she has designed for The Bellarmine Women's Council show homes and they are always my favorites among the other designers chosen. She is a true professional, and her ASID certification was a very important consideration in my decision to work with her.

Designed our entire apartment when we downsized from a 4 bedroom, 4 bath home to a 1 bedroom + den, 1.5 bath apartment. We are both terrible at making decisions re: decorating and colors. She incorporated the few pieces of furniture we brought with us with the new furniture and carpets and drapes she helped us choose. Joan designed custom shelving for our small den and even figured out how/where to hang our pictures. She was absolutely wonderful to work with: always professional, always available. The best thing was that Joan was there the day we moved in to make sure that every piece of furniture was in the right place. We never expected our apartment to be the most comfortable home we've ever lived in, but it is. Thank you, Joan! You are the best!
