James Décor was established in 1946, and has the distinction of being Springfield’s oldest design firm. Lee Haik, owner, attributes this longevity to offering the finest quality merchandise at fair prices, backed by the best customer service possible. Lee is an associate of the American Society of Interior Designers and attends major markets several times a year to keep abreast of the latest styles and trends.
James Décor offers a comprehensive line of furniture, including the latest styles from Marge Carson, Henredon, Hickory Chair, Maitland-Smith, John Richard, and Theodore Alexander. Our 20,000 square foot showroom also features unique accessories, including original art work, prints, bronzes, lamps, and rugs, in styles ranging from Old World to Contemporary. Our staff of friendly, professional designers is always on hand to assist in every facet of home design, whether it is selection of colors, flooring, fabrics, room layouts, furniture arrangements or window treatments. Our resource library features thousands of fabrics and wall coverings from which to choose. James Décor also offers in-house, custom picture framing.

I worked with Maralee recently during an extensive remodel. She was great. Not enough good can be said about her and the James Decor organization. Maralee was wonderful working with the furniture and accessories I already had and choosing new items that worked with the old perfectly. My home is warm and inviting as well as nicely updated. The craftsmen that they work with are also top notch. I love my draperies, wall hanging and new upholstery. They all gave me great help to make my remodeling upheaval a very manageable experience. I have been working with them for about 17 years and they will remain my go-to interior experts. BRH

I purchased a new home in 2015 and used James Home Decor to refurnish the entire house. I was just going to start with a few rooms. However, the rooms came out spectacular and they were super fun to work with. I ended up using them to finish the rest of the house.
It is hard to find high quality products in this area. Not only is their showroom packed, but they were able to source some very unique brands as well. They will definitely do my next house!

I cannot tell you the level of service you get from Lee and her staff! They have an exquisite eye for detail, as well as the sensitivity to their clients to gently push them in the right direction. They have a such a wide variety of pieces, and whatever you want they will be able to get. They make the process so easy and seamless, it made made me want to redecorate my entire house! I really dislike decorating, so I appreciated the input that James home Decor gave me. The style they present to you is timeless; my very first Christmas tree was designed and purchased by James Decor, and I still use it to this day, over 12 years later. It is still beautiful, classic, and elegant. I’m purely my own style. As such, I have purchased two houses full of furniture from them. Once, when I was first married; and the second and our (hopefully) forever home. Thank you James home Decor, Lee, martie, and all the other wonderful decorators and stylus that made this happen!

Few stores in the mid-west offer me the kind of decor selections that James Decor so professionally offers as I walk into the their show room. The sales people are kind and very informative. Because of this atmosphere, I have been able to find my way to the proper items that represent me within my home. All the items deliver to my home were treated with the best of care. Lee and James Decor has helped me decorate my home for the past six years. When we moved into our new home, we needed a lot of new furniture because the rooms in the house were a lot larger and a different style from our previous home. Lee was and is amazing at finding the perfect furniture for each room, tying some of our old sentimental pieces with new updated decor, choosing the best colors for paints as well as bedding and wall decor. She also took a lot of time putting it all together! She is amazing at learning/ knowing what you like and picking out the perfect pieces of furnitue that will make your home look like a showcase. Our upstairs is more traditional and our basement is somewhat contemporary and both floors look like they could be in a decorator's magazine. People always comment how amazing our house looks and I could not have done it without Lee!!!!! I highly recommend her to anyone for any job they need help with in decorating their home and any style.

I have worked with Lee Haik, owner of James Decor for over 10 years. Her customer service is unmatched. I built a new home and was very hesitant about working with someone to make it my home. Lee is great to work with, has access to multiple lines and has a large show room of not just furniture but fabric and wallpapers. I was able to go and look throughout books and sample all day to make sure I found just the right fabric or wallpaper. Her selection of furniture lines are top of line companies but also has more moderate priced good-quality lines as well. She was very respectful of my dollar and appreciated my taste as well. She is committed to maintaining unmatched client service and surrounds herself with professionals that do the same.
