Jane Ann is absolutely wonderful! She guided us on interior selections for our entire home as we were building and helped us with floor plans for some tricky spaces, gorgeous window treatments, and expert advice on lots of other details (e.g. pillows and lamps to name a few!). Her personality is as lovely as her work - she takes the time to understand your personality and what you really want and is so down to earth. She’s completely comfortable with the upscale, but also appreciates that there can be more “budget” areas of a home. I can’t recommend Jane Ann highly enough.

I hired Jane Ann this year to work on my entire home and she has been worth every penny! She has been designing for many years and has a wealth of experience and connections. Jane Ann has been great at helping me figure out what my style is, while at the same time, incorporating timeless pieces. She was also very conscientious of my budget and time. Jane Ann was a wonderful personal designer for my new home in Charlotte. She got to know me as an individual and was able to quickly fill my home with my style and bring warmth and love into it as we transitioned into a new city away from home. She is quick to respond to anything you need and always has solutions to challenges you face in the design process. I hired Jane Ann Maxwell to design & execute the furnishing of the main living areas of my custom open-concept home. The home was a new build and we were starting from scratch with empty rooms. This was a large project requiring skills and duties too numerous to list here. I will try to communicate some of the scope by sharing the following: •After meeting with me, taking a look at the space & hearing my thoughts, Jane Ann created & successfully presented her design concepts. •Always staying on track with the original vision and using her design expertise and resources, Jane Ann found possibilities for paint color, fabrics, furniture, window coverings, and accessories. We then went shopping together and she guided & educated me in making my final choices. •As I was living out-of-state at the beginning of the project, Jane Ann coordinated the painting of the entire house interior, the installation of window blinds throughout the entire house, and the installation of a custom built wall unit in the den. This was all successfully completed in a relatively short period of time before we actually moved in. We most appreciated this “above & beyond” level of service and were delighted with the results. •Throughout the project Jane Ann coordinated all the deliveries and home installations, making sure everything was just right. And when something wasn't quite right, she worked at making it so. Jane Ann is: •A great listener, paying close attention to her client and somehow even understanding what is not being said. •Excellent at asking the right open-ended questions to get at what’s most important to her client. •Genuinely curious and caring about what matters to her client. •Great at building rapport, quickly creating trust and a feeling of safety with her client. •Good at delivering a sales presentation. Professional & confident in her approach. •Enthusiastic, upbeat, energetic, and honest. •Creative and intuitive, with a talent for visioning on the client’s behalf. •Skilled at handling objections. In my opinion, this is mostly due to her excellent listening & rapport building skills. More than just positive, I would call my experience “positively uplifting”. Honestly, it was a joy working with Jane Ann and I learned so much about interior design from her.

Jane Ann Maxwell is not only a fabulous designer, she is a truly authentic person.
