Janet Patterson Interior Design (JPID)

We engaged Janet Patterson in 2021-22 to make some adjustments to a 5,000 square foot condo at Ocean Reef Club. The former owner had already made significant improvements to the unit, which I think makes the assignment we handed to Janet even more challenging than doing a total makeover. Janet knew just what needed improving and how to get it done. We are very satisfied with her work and would engage her again without hesitation

JPID was a godsend to our home remodel. Janet and her team did a turn key service which saved time, cost and a few headaches on our part. Janets team selected every bit of what you see in our home, all flooring, tile, paint, fixtures, kitchen selections and then when ready, furnishings, floor coverings and accessories. The team saw the process through from date of purchase, demolition, build and of course design. My husband and I gut renovated our Miami Beach condo from 1981. We have never gone through a remodel, even though my husband is experienced in construction it was no match for a condo remodel. There are so many nuances with the architect, designer and construction company that without Janet we would have been going in circles. Janet understands the process, she is well connected and can expedite front and back end. She set realistic timelines and forecasted any issues to prevent change orders. There were no surprises. Now, when I walk into my house at the end of the day, cooking in my beautiful kitchen or entertaining we are constantly reminded that JPID brought a vision and ideas to the table we never could have imagined. They found a way to marry my husband’s “style” with mine into something that we both love and are very proud of. Janet = Interior Designer God Where to begin.. Janet is pure grace and style. She takes that extra step to ensure your home dreams are met and educates herself by fully understanding what you are looking for. Most designers just want to select the expensive looks in order to maximize their commission. Janet however takes a different approach. She is genuine and most importantly puts herself in your shoes thus is able to master the overall design you are looking for and execute wisely. We are forever grateful for you JPID!

Janet gave us a wonderful design for our new open plan home that incorporated our personal style while acknowledging we have two young boisterous boys. The design needed to be able to look stylish for entertaining while being able to stand up to the next few years of rough and tumble with the kids still at home. Our boys rooms are fun and modern, taking into account their ages and giving plenty of flexibility to grow with them. The lighting fixtures she chose are spectacular and make a statement in our entryway, kitchen island and main living areas. Janet was timely with her estimates, came in on budget, and was flexible when we needed to research further for selections that were within our budget. She's also fun to shop with! We would highly recommend Janet as a designer.

It really and truly is difficult to write a review that does JPID justice . I could list you all the things that really make this design firm stand out, but it just doesn’t have the same effect .. If you ever get the opportunity to work with Janet and her amazing team you will see what I’m talking about .. just to hit a couple key factors . 1: The vision, she really takes a space and completely molds it into a master piece. Its an art and Janet has got it , I don’t throw this word lightly but she is a true Visionary. If you’re stuck on color collaborations or over all mood .. just allow her to do her magic and you’ll see . 2: The Accountability, most people don’t really take the time to guide there clients so that have a deep understanding of what the next phases for there home or commercial projects .. Here it’s something you don’t have to ask .. you’ll be in the loop from beginning to end . Or as much as you want to be . 3: The Personal Touch: you can sleep well knowing she has your best interest at heart and really wants to create a space not only that fits your life style but is adaptable . The details are really that touch that separates her projects from countless others ! If you ever have a question simply ask .

I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Janet. It was my first time using a designer and she truly exceeded my expectations. She took the time to listen to what we liked and the first time she took us to see and try out couches I new she had nailed it. It was exactly what we liked. She’s a true professional but also a very caring person wanting to make sure we were happy and I love that she’s a perfectionist. As a floor tile supplier & distributor who has done several projects with her, I can't say enough great things about Janet. I worked with Janet on a remodel of an existing space. It is without a doubt that she did an awesome job blending fresh & modern ideas and aligned them with my personal preferences to create a project that I'm still thrilled with today! A year ago my husband and I purchased a new home, it's an older home that needed a little updating. We were a little nervous about the thought of renovating because we had zero experience and no idea where to begin. This was the second time we hired Janet to help us with our bathrooms of our new home. We first worked with her to decorate our daughters room in our starter home. We were so happy with the results we went back to her. We now have three beautiful bathrooms that are each unique yet tie in tie in to each other. Janet did everything, from fixture choices, tile combinations, to lighting layout. Janet just gets it and can work with different styles. And all with a beautiful smile. Janet has been my favorite interior designer for years. She help my husband and I pick all out materials for our brand new house. I have to say she did a great job! From the counter tops, tile, cabinet colors and paint. Also for fabric. We are actually working with her for a backsplash for the kitchen. She is very patient and knows my taste and I trust her expertise and her taste with all my projects. I will continue to work with her in the future for any home redesigning projects. I have to say that working with Janet has been a breath of fresh air! We hired another interior designer, prior to Janet, to help us with our renovation and had such an awful experience that we were going to forget about hiring someone.
