I had the pleasure of working with Janet twice on our small home in 2011 and 2013, designing our bathrooms, living room and family room areas. She also did a consult on ideas for our summer place in 2019. She worked within our budget and helped us bring our design ideas to fruition through a professional lens. She is proof that it pays to hire a professional to avoid amateur mistakes that cost more in the end. Her expertise was well worth it. She is creative, flexible, and a very nice person. Like many other people have commented, she is someone you will go to over and over again or wish you had a new space so you could hire her again.

Being our first home purchase, I can't say that hiring an interior designer was initially on our radar. In conversation with one of my friends about the move in date of our new home he suggested we should strongly consider hiring a professional to help us with furnishing and decorating and he gave me Janet's contact info who he holds in very high regard. My wife and I met with Janet to discuss our plans, style and budget. She was very helpful, reviewed what she thought we would need and provided us with a detailed quote. I was still somewhat hesitant due to the additional cost but looking back I am so happy we did. The results were unbelievable and completely exceeded our expectations. She kept the whole process so low stress, stayed within budget and at the end of move in day we immediately felt right at home. We absolutely love how our new home feels and looks, we couldn't have done it without her help. If we move again, I know without a doubt who we'll be calling. Thanks again for everything Janet!

It was an extensive renovation of our basement, kitchen, family room, living and dining rooms, powder room, and 3 bedrooms. We could not be more thrilled with the finished product! Janet is simply the BEST! Janet has worked on various parts of our house over the last 7 years. It started with simple colour selection of all the rooms in our home and grew to a total dining room design. Next came all the lighting in the house and then creating a cozy and comfortable deck sitting area. Up next is our living room and I can't wait to work with Janet again. She is very detail oriented, really listens to the client and presents options that would all work and seamlessly go together. She knows what I like but also introduces new ideas and looks that I end up loving and would never have thought of. She is also very good at staying on budget and on time. Everyone still comments on our dining room 7 years later - "gorgeous!" I cannot recommend Janet more highly.
