Janet Shea Interiors is a full service interior design and decorating business based on the South Shore of Massachusetts. I specialize in color, space planning, furnishings, finishes and soft treatments. Though I don't like to label a particular style preference in my work, I do incorporate furnishings and finishes with a modern sensibility for style and function. Today more than ever, I believe that good design should enhance your life and be thoughtful to your practical needs and aesthetic views.

My husband and I found the perfect location to build our new home. We knew we needed a professional with the many decisions we’d be making. After interviewing many, we instantly connected with Janet Shea as she really listened to our ideas and was able to balance our home without being too masculine or too feminine in decore. We have two college aged sons that Janet also was open to their thoughts. She has an amazing eye for color and was great with measurements when focusing on each room whether it be the kitchen , bedrooms, family room, or bathrooms. We always felt like we were her only clients as she was always engaged , thorough and punctual to our builder’s great satisfaction. We live on the water and we wanted the feeling of a year round home instead of it feeling too beachy like a summer home. She accomplished this and carries color, and warmth throughout. I highly recommend Janet Shea whether it be an entire home as was ours or any updated project.

Janet did a wonderful job combining both my husband and I's preferences into our new TV room. My husband likes a more modern space whereas I am more traditional. We had never worked with a decorator before & weren't sure what to expect. Janet gave us different layout choices, paint, fabric & color options for everything. Items were also given at different price points. She communicates well and makes sure that you are satisfied with the product/service. I would highly recommend Janet.

As a small company, I rely on the diligence of the decorators I work with to keep their projects rolling along and therefore keeping me busy. Through the years, she has done just that. Janet always answers my phone calls, emails or any questions I may have about a project and seeks my advise when necessary. We work very well together because she treats me with the utmost professional respect and does the same with her clients. You can always tell that Janet's clients really like her and the end product of her work is always wonderful!

Janet did an incredible job with the remodel of our kitchen/dining room! I don't think I could have accomplished the remodel on my own. She knew exactly what I was looking to do just by listening to me. In my mind I knew what I wanted, but she helped me visualize it.
