I have worked with Jean for over a year. She has been amazing! The most difficult challenge was helping me to discover my personal decorating taste amidst the haphazardly collected furniture and accessories that had accumulated in my home. Jean was very patient and insightful along this journey. Once we nailed it, she ran with it. Jean has excellent ideas for organization and decluttering and a sweet encouraging spirit. She knows how to find bargains and can work with a limited budget. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly, intelligent, and creative decorator.

My experience with Jean Carter and Company well exceeded my expectations. The personal attention given to my project was an unexpected treat from feeling "lost in the shuffle" which I felt previously with larger firms. Jean first inquired what "feeling" I wanted to accomplish with the new design. She wanted to know my taste, budget and time frame. I liked the idea that we could incorporate my existing items with the addition new furnishings, lighting, rugs and accessories. Jean Carter brought vibrant life into what was such a dated space, creating my desired feeling. We finished in the agreed time frame, staying within budget. IMPRESSIVE! Thank you, Jean.

We were amazed at Jean's ability to determine a clients needs, interests and budget. Jean did not just furnish furniture, drapes, rugs and art, she choose durable and long lasting styles and colors for furniture, lighting fixtures, wood finishes etc. and tied the design together in a wonderful, cohesive way.
