Jennifer Ashton is fabulous! After interviewng several designers, we hired Jennifer because of her enthusiasm and vision for our project. Specifically, we needed a professional who could help us select furniture, rugs, accent pieces, wall color and art for our new home, who would work with us to reflect our own tastes and personalities, but also help us avoid mistakes. I'm working with Jennifer Ashton on a new semi-custom Pueblo-style house in Santa Fe, NM. She is part of my builder's design team, advising me on kitchen & bathroom selections, lighting, tile, paint & stain colors, etc. as well as floor plans. She is full of excellent design ideas & doesn't mind that I want to work with much of my old furniture & decorative objects. After I move in I also want her to help with furniture placement & window treatments. One great thing about Jennifer is her amazingly subtle sense of color. She's fantastic at being able to match just about any color & figure out how different colors work together. She doesn't give up until she's got it just right. She has stylish, up-to-date ideas, yet she doesn't force them on her client if that's not the look they want, so she's a joy to work with.
