I hired Jennifer to redesign our family room. She understood from the get-go my style and took it in the direction we wanted it to go. We kept pieces that were important to us and used new pieces that we felt drawn to. Definitely turned out better than even I was imagining- would definitely use her again.

We hired Jennifer Connell to help us with a complete and total interior redesign at our home in Basking Ridge. We had purchased the home 4 years earlier and while we had completely furnished the interior, we never had that feeling of a home with a cohesive look and the elegant flow we wanted. We felt like we needed someone to come in and “close the deal” and wow did Jennifer do just that. Jennifer had come to us on a referral from a friend, something we are always a little hesitant about but now those fears seem totally unfounded and silly. Jennifer is a true professional in every sense of the word. She spent significant time listening to us and understanding our specific needs. We have two young children, so we asked Jennifer to design a plan for the interior of our home that was both professionally finished and striking and yet functional for our kids to live and play all while working to include and work around a lot of the existing pieces we had already acquired and liked. Jennifer proved to be both smart and creative in her choices and worked diligently within our budget, always presenting us with options that you could tell had been specifically curated for our home. Jennifer’s attention to detail fit perfectly with ours. Jennifer is assertive yet engaging and personable and ultimately extraordinarily talented as a designer. We feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Jennifer and we are reminded of that every time a guest visits our home with “ohhs” and “ahhs”. I first contacted Jennifer over ten years ago to help me with various design jobs in my house. I quickly became addicted to her opinion and would contact her about any and every purchase for the house- lamps, pillows, mirrors, furniture. Years later, I still love every item she chose. Jennifer is excellent at mixing what I already have with more updated and current pieces. About five years ago Jennifer did our master bath and it is absolutely beautiful! Our bedroom is on the first floor so guests often will see it and comment on how gorgeous it is- marble, with soft white custom cabinets and mirrors, pretty sconces. I am now reaching out to Jennifer to help redo our kitchen. I am very excited to see what she suggests. I highly recommend Jennifer for any and all design work. She is not only great at what she does but is also quick with decisions. We made all of the decisions for the master bath in less than a week- marble, fixtures, cabinets/ mirror, etc. I can not say enough about Jennifer Connell Design!

Jennifer Connell decorated (from top to bottom!) our newly purchased, although dated, beach house in the spring of 2014. We were absolutely thrilled with the result--a bright, fresh, chic and beautiful yet comfortable abode which has garnered tons of compliments! Jennifer came up with fabulous ideas to lighten up, freshen and modernize the cabinetry, floors, light fixtures and paint since we were not yet ready to do construction renovation. We gave Jennifer total freedom to decorate--and each room is a mix of fun colors and beautiful, interesting, eclectic pieces. As a result of Jennifer's ingenuity, we have been indefinitely holding off on further renovations. In addition to being highly talented, as well as professional, Jennifer is caring, courteous and lots of fun to work with! And her efficiency blew us away--our house was completely designed and furnished in a few short months, and Jennifer stayed completely within our budget! We hired Jennifer because, several years prior, she helped us with another project and, in addition to fully enjoying the experience, we were incredibly impressed with her talent, expertise and ability to meet deadlines and budgets. We recommend Jennifer very, very highly. In fact, we can't recommend Jennifer highly enough!!

Jennifer helped us transform our home into the beautiful space we had always desired but failed with two previous decorators. She is smart, honest, hard-working and reliable. She is also fun to be around, which made the process more enjoyable! My husband and I trusted Jennifer's expertise. She made the selection process easy by not overwhelming us with a million little details. She did much of the work prior to our meetings and was prepared to get selections made in a seamless matter.

I have known Jennifer Connell for many years. She is a lovely person and fantastic to work with. She brings so much to the table. She is well traveled. This travel has exposed her to many wonderful styles. She is flexible and thinks outside the box. She is a good listener and does not try to force her vision on the client. I enjoy working with Jennifer. She is easy to work with. As a professional I appreciate working with other professionals. On complicated jobs where your have a number of different trades involved communication is critical. Jennifer does a great job of keeping everyone in the loop and does it with a smile on her face. Jennifer has a great eye for color and detail. She has done several jobs for us. Jennifer brought life and beauty to our home and was happy to work within our budget. She introduced beautiful pieces to our living room and pulled the whole look together. But my favorite is the window treatments in our dining room that present rich fabric and color with gorgeous detailing!

Jennifer is without a doubt the best designer! After seeing my house and after a lengthy interview with me, Jennifer shared with me her vision of how she wanted to “make-over” my house. I bought into her vision and gave her the freedom to make most decisions without me. To say that I was amazed with the transformation of my house would be an understatement. I absolutely love my house now and it is now a true reflection of my tastes and who I am. I had no idea that by changing my house my life would change. Sounds crazy, but it is true! Jennifer is amazing! And on another note, Jennifer is now helping us put together design and color for Cresthaven Academy Charter School. We are so very appreciative of her help!

We've worked with Jennifer for the past 6-7 years collaborating on joint projects and on designer show houses.
