Jennifer Wundrow had a passion for interiors from a young age. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in interior design in San Diego, Jennifer moved to San Francisco and pursued full-time employment with two of the top bay area design firms – Tucker & Marks and Rebecca Bradley Interior Design before starting her own company, formerly Nest Design Co. in 2008. Jennifer produced numerous high-profile residential projects in San Francisco, Carmel, New York, Sonoma, and Lake Tahoe. As owner and President of the Marin-based design firm, Nest Design Co., Jennifer gained extensive working knowledge on a broad range of projects: from ground-up construction, to remodels, to interior furnishings. Jennifer and her team strive to make a house feel collected and believe that interiors are about the people who inhabit them. They believe each interior space should be a unique reflection of the people who dwell there and building a team that collectively has the homeowners' best interest in mind is imperative. I loved working with Jennifer! She is creative, smart, detail oriented, uber organized, professional, thoughtful and has an excellent design eye. Perhaps most importantly, she's a good listener who cares about designing a space that embodies the objectives of her clients. Jennifer helped with every aspect of our new build: picking tile, fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, wall finishes, countertops, lighting schemes and all of the home's furnishings. I was overwhelmed by where to even begin, but Jennifer did a brilliant job of figuring out my sense of style and the feel I wanted the home to have. But she also expanded my horizons and helped me to think outside the box, and the ultimate design of the home is much more sophisticated and creative than I was capable of contemplating. I am a neat freak and so I also wanted a low maintenance home. Jennifer found materials and pieces that not only are beautiful, but functional and easy to keep clean. Jennifer was an absolute pro and liaised with our architect and contractor, which took a lot off of our plate and kept things running smoothly. She's diplomatic and an excellent communicator and always made herself available to chat. I valued Jennifer's professionalism, but I also thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She's personable, warm and a lot of fun! She's almost too good to be true :)
