Modern eclectic is the signature look of interior designer Jessica Gersten. An eye for one-of-a-kind antiques mixed with contemporary designs allows for the creation of a unique juxtaposition in her work. In close collaboration with her clients, Jessica seeks to create spaces that evoke emotion while speaking to their lifestyle needs. Before starting her own interior design company in 2008, Jessica spent 15 years in the fashion industry. Working for world-renowned brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani and Kenneth Cole, she nurtured her long-standing vision for a full lifestyle aesthetic. With a keen awareness of color, fabric and proportion, Jessica’s transition to interiors was a natural one. Answering the needs of clients who appreciated her talent for creating evocative spaces, Jessica Gersten Interiors was born. Jessica's rooms begin with neutral base colors, organic shapes, and ethnic patterns and textures. She then cultivates a distinctive style by applying layers of mid-century lighting, bold sculptures and modern iconic furniture designs. To date, her projects have ranged from several Manhattan residences, the Hamptons, and Pound Ridge, New York to homes in New Jersey.

We love working on project with Jessica Gersten's team. we always know that the end result will be a striking and energetic interior that reflects the energy of this New York design team.
I worked with Jessica on my new apartment through a gut renovation. Jessica has incredible taste, dedication, and focus. It was like working with a dear friend-easy and fun. I highly recommend Jessica's services. She is extremely knowledgeable about renovation and all things decorating! My experience was wonderful and the finished product-impeccable!
Jessica is a true professional with fabulous taste. Cool, calm, and collected she works through any surprises that may arise on a project and provides guidance with her vision and leadership. We partnered with her as the architects on a complete renovation of a house in Millbrook, New York. It was refreshing to work with another design professional who listens as enthusiastically as she speaks. Jessica is smart, insightful, creative and was mindful of the client’s budget. The success of our project was truly a team effort but Jessica was the MVP. She is a true pleasure to work with and someone you will want to know for years to come.
Jessica has helped us create our dream home. She listened with an open mind when we first met and has really understood our vision and made it a reality. Well, to be honest its better than our vision! She has impeccable taste and a wonderful and fun personality. It's always a pleasure to meet and speak with her. She also has a wonderful way of mixing some amazing and unique pieces that make a room special and give it the 'wow' factor. Throughout every step of the project she has helped with both minor and major issues and has always been there for us. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
As a designer Jessica is all one could hope for. She is creative, knowledgeable, fun, efficient and a good listener. Jessica has an elegant, sophisticated style with a splash of whimsy. In a city where interior designers are a dime a dozen, Jessica was able to distinguish herself by combining our desires with a trained, sharp eye, creating spaces that were not only just what we had envisioned but that were also unique, rich and interesting. It was a pleasure (and exciting) to dive into all the ideas and options (high and low end) she offered, in record speed- I might add. She is an expert at arranging high end one-of-a-kind pieces with lower end pieces and making it work visual as well as for your wallet. We are about to start phase two of our interior design renovation- and I can't wait! I can't recommend her highly enough!
Jessica's style and taste are unparalleled. She really listens to your needs and creates the most inviting and serene settings. I had a few pieces that I needed Jessica to incorporate into the design and she made it work seamlessly. Jessica is extremely creative and her floor plans were always well planned. The furniture pieces she choose were not only stylish, but functional and comfortable as well. Jessica met all deadlines, stayed on budget and was so great to work with.
Jessica was the consummate decorator/not decorator. We needed a lot of help but wanted the project to feel like it was totally our own, and she fully exceeded our expectations. We worked with her through a gut renovation and she was able to envision the space in a way that we would never have been able to, in addition to modernizing several rooms in which the structure wasn't changed beautifully. We chose pieces from the cheapest to the most expensive possible; she always provided a range, for which I (and my husband!) are very grateful. She is also a joy to be around. Happy, positive, with wonderful energy. We adore her and need to now find a country house so that we can hire her again!
