Michelle was the perfect choice for us during our kitchen renovation. From the beginning, she was able to present a clear vision for our kitchen while still making the design feel like our own. She also provided recommendations for contractors she had worked successfully with in the past, which was extremely helpful as we began the renovation process. Throughout the project, Michelle provided a truly personalized experience. She met us at material suppliers and showrooms we never would have discovered on our own and generously allowed us to take advantage of her designer discounts when purchasing materials. At the same time, she was always supportive of our choices and never pressured us into selecting something we weren't completely comfortable with. Michelle's involvement continued well beyond the initial design. She prepared a detailed binder for our contractor containing all of our design selections and specifications, which helped make the construction process much smoother. She also made periodic visits to the project throughout the renovation to ensure that everything was progressing according to plan and that the design was being carried out as intended. Now that the renovation is complete, we can truly appreciate how invaluable Michelle's guidance and expertise were throughout the entire process. She helped take much of the uncertainty and stress out of a major renovation while making sure the finished kitchen reflected what we wanted. We could not be happier with the result, and the project simply would not have turned out as well as it did without her help. We would highly recommend Michelle to anyone considering a renovation or looking for a talented, knowledgeable, and supportive designer. I hired Michelle (based off reviews and her insta), from overseas to style a house I bought without seeing. We had to furnish the whole house which was going to be expensive. She was so professional, honest, efficient, and willing to work with our budget! She has 3 kids and 3 dogs… so I trusted her to pick pieces that were going to be durable and high quality at the same time. When we walked into our first home for the first time we were blown away! It looked like we had stepped into a magazine… so cozy, modern, and beautiful. We eventually moved into another home, and since we have hired her a total of 4 times! I’m top of being a stylist she is an architectural designer. She did our kitchen remodel (her specialty), and she was able to keep some pieces to keep the costs down. Recently she finished our outdoor area and we immediately had all our friends over to enjoy the space. There has not been a single person to walk into our home and not compliment it for its beauty. We put SO proud of our home and we love Michelle so much!

We’ve trusted Michelle with three different homes, and I wouldn’t use anyone else. One of the things that impresses me most is her ability to repurpose and reinvent furniture we’ve owned for years while seamlessly incorporating new pieces that elevate the entire space. Avoid Michelle (Sensitive Information Hidden) of JoliG Interiors & Designs – Unprofessional, Disorganized, and Self-Serving We hired Michelle (Sensitive Information Hidden) of JoliG Interiors & Designs under a $17,000 flat-fee contract to design our entire home — including the kitchen, five bathrooms, and family room. We paid a $5,000 deposit up front. Unfortunately, what we experienced was poor communication, missed deadlines, and very little actual work. Michelle visited our home once for a walkthrough and measurements, which took about 1–2 hours. Our second and final meeting was at an appliance showroom to review appliances. She arrived over half an hour late, handed us rushed SketchUp designs, and left us little time to review or discuss them due to the time we had scheduled with another appointment. After that meeting, we went on a planned two-week vacation. When we returned, we attempted several times to reconnect and schedule a follow-up. Despite our efforts, she was unresponsive and failed to move the project forward. We had a clear deadline of July 1 to begin construction. At that point, no designs were finalized, no materials were selected, and we had received no usable deliverables. It was clear that she was not aligned with our goals or timeline, so we made the decision to terminate the contract. According to her 20-page contract, cancellation reverts her services to an hourly rate of $125/hour. She refunded only $275 from our $5,000 deposit, claiming the rest was spent on design work and software time without any documentation explaining to us where the money went. We questioned this, since we received no completed plans, no documentation, no layout packages, and no material selections — nothing justifying thousands of dollars of design work. Her response was dismissive and defensive. She compared herself to an architect, emphasized how valuable her time was, and made no effort to account for the complete lack of deliverables. In our opinion, Michelle (Sensitive Information Hidden) is self-serving, disorganized, and unaccountable. She seemed more interested in defending her fees than delivering meaningful results. This was a waste of our time, trust, and money. Buyer beware: We strongly advise against hiring Michelle (Sensitive Information Hidden) or JoliG Interiors & Designs. Think twice before signing a contract, she is not an ASID Designer. We would not recommend her to anyone.

It seems the perfect time to write this review is when I'm sitting in my newly redecorated home. Currently, my living room. Michelle orchestrated a fit and finish redo to our home of 20+ years that was nothing short of spectacular. She did redesign on our kitchen, family room, living room, dining room and 5 bathrooms. It was a sizable project. Michelle understood exactly what we wanted from viewing a few Pinterest pages. What she accomplished was beyond our wildest expectations. The beauty of our home aside, Michelle was wonderful to work alongside. I didn't choose the word "alongside" haphazardly. Michelle worked with us and never made us feel like our choices were poor or they were inferior to hers because she's the design professional and we're not. She respected who we are at every step of the project from beginning to end. She willingly and happily incorporated our favorite paintings and items in the final staging. She integrated what we had with new items to make everything feel fresh, yet timeless. She gave us ideas to save money. She frankly advised us when our choices weren't so great and why. Through it all, Michelle led with kindness and care. She respected that this is our home and we are living in it. If I could give Michelle a hundred stars, I would.

My husband and I are living in our dream home thanks to Michelle Meyers of Joli G Interiors & Designs. I can't imagine working with anyone except her. When we first met Michelle, she walked into our home and exuded happy energy. She really is Miss Sunshine. Here's what my husband Greg has to say about her: She spent time to get to know us and our wants for our remodel. She drew up a preliminary plan, and reworked it several times to fit our needs and taste. She provided expert guidance with the design, listened to us when we told her we didn't like something, and didn't try to force us to do something that we weren't comfortable with. She provided several contractors for bids, and was present constantly throughout the project. At the end, she expertly staged and decorated our home. She helped us pick out furniture and accessories. She was always friendly and funny. We never felt rushed or pushed. The contractor that we chose through her was exceptional. All true! Yes, she came back with a design we loved in the end, and it was executed beyond our expectations. What Michelle adds is her magic. She sees things others don't. She really has an incredible vision. You have to trust her because SHE just knows what will look great even when you're not sure. I kept telling her I thought the house was going to be too fancy. Her response was, " You deserve fancy!" She was right. We now have a gorgeous, fancy, amazing, inviting, cozy house. Our kids, grandkids, and friends walk in and say, "Wow!" MIchelle has been a delight to work with and has become a dear friend. We love her and her family. Everybody warned us how awful a remodel will be. Prepare for the worst we were told. Honestly, our experience was just the opposite. We did the outside and inside and every single person that was involved was professional, responsible and wonderful. WORK WITH MICHELLE! She is honest, has integrity, and has the highest standards; therefore, she attracts the best. We've already recommended her to several friends and family members. Michelle is AMAZING!!! I highly recommend her, and will be recommending her to all of our friends and family. We were looking for an experienced interior designer to fully design & furnish our family room, living room, kitchen area, dining room, master bedroom, baby room/nursery, bathrooms, and hallways - as we have a baby on the way and wanted the house to be done before the baby came. The house was pretty much empty despite having moved in 2 years ago, as we did not have the time to pick out furniture nor the eye to properly fill in all these rooms with the aesthetic design we envisioned but had no idea how to execute on. From the first call we took with Michelle, we could tell she listened to her clients, understood our style and what we were looking for. And also that she would be efficient and practical, meeting our needs as well as a tight timeline. Within 3 months we had all of these areas of the house fully done and we are SO happy with the results. Beyond furniture and staging, Michelle also has an eye for details such as windows and curtains, paintings and plants - to pull an entire room or house together. Our house now feels like a home, and I'm so excited to be able to feel comfortable nesting in preparation for the baby. Even better, Michelle stayed within our budget and understood the balance between having a beautiful design with practical day-to-day use. This was my first remodel project ever. After hearing many horror stories, I contacted Michelle. I liked that she had a flat fee option. I took the plunge. I was so happy with the bathroom remodel that halfway through I said, let’s go for it and do the master bath too. Everything is gorgeous and functions! I am now looking forward to doing another bathroom and the kitchen in the near future and it is all thanks to Michelle!

Joli G Interiors & Designs / Michelle Meyers designed our entire house interior remodel (including all furniture and all decor). She referred us to the general contractor (AM Construction / Austin Moreno) that we utilized. We cannot say enough great things about Michelle (and the contractor). Michelle took over and essentially managed the whole project (and I mean EVERYTHING). We did not have one hiccup as things went smoothly from start to finish. The project turned out much better than expected. Michelle is a wonderful designer and an even better human being. We are very fortunate and blessed to have met her and utilized her very professional services. My wife cried three times when Michelle did a home renovation reveal similar to what you see on the home remodel TV shows. Our overall experience could not have been better! This is the second time I’ve worked with Michelle which speaks for itself. We just did a complete downstairs remodel and Michelle helped take away much of the stress by working directly with the contractor and getting everything ordered so the project would not be stalled. She is a great designer with a great vision. She valued my opinion, incorporated my wishes into the design, but also gave respectful, gentle guidance about my wishes. I 100% trusted her and knew that she would create a fabulous space. She also had no problem stopping something if it wasn’t right. For example, she had some tile redone because the grout lines were not as envisioned and she halted delivery of some stone as the color appeared differently as it was being loaded. She was also there for move in day and put my house back together. Michelle was on top of everything and always was responsive. My contractor continued to tell me through the months how much he appreciated working with her. And on top of her stellar professionalism, work ethic, design ideas, Michelle is FUN to work with! She has a great sense of humor and enthusiasm about her job/work. I was 6 months without a kitchen and as happy I was to have my house back, it was bitter sweet. My house is beautiful and I absolutely love it, but I got used to having Michelle be a regular part of my day and I miss her! I will be requesting her services for the upstairs and actually look forward to that remodel for the simple fact that I will be working with Michelle again.

Our family hired Michelle to help us freshen up a home we purchased in La Costa after moving from Florida. Working with Michelle was as stress-free as it was fun! Designing a space can be really overwhelming, especially when under a time crunch, but Michelle helped us accomplish what we needed and wanted to do within our budget and helped us plan our next project to tackle a few years down the road! The design came out beautifully. If Michelle asks something like, "Do you trust me? I have a crazy idea," then just go along with it!

By chance, while searching online for a new designer here in San Diego, I found Joli G Interiors and Designs. I looked at her work, which is as beautiful as any you will see from any design shop in California. I read her reviews and they were distinctly different from what my review would have been for my last design team, and I liked that, too. I reached out and set an appointment with the company’s principle, Michelle. She came to our home and immediately hit it off with my wife. They are both artists and they moved seamlessly together to achieve the ‘vision’ we were looking for. Joli G Interiors and Designs recommended a contractor, which I contracted with separately. This was a can-do team and simply as nice as they could be. Their product was solid, sound, and beautiful. What a transformation! Our new master bed and bath is jaw dropping and was had at such a reasonable price. Needless to say, my wife is bending Michelle’s ear on another project. Five stars and two thumbs for Joli G!

We remodeled our downstairs home (e.g., painted, new floors, new fireplace, etc.) and Michelle was available every single step of the way before she redecorated the area. Michelle listens carefully and at the same time, is honest in her approach. She saved me from making a few catastrophic remodeling decisions that would have not been good for our family. The fact that she's a mother also is helpful as she provided very helpful suggestions that improved the lives of our family members. She's very responsive and will look for ways to save money without compromising style. Michelle was a delight to work with, not only is she a phenomenal designer but she has a great energy and a vibrant personality! Michelle was recommended to me by a person who had responded to a Facebook group post searching for interior design. I went to Michelle’s website and was very impressed with her work and the services she offered. Michelle responded quickly to my inquiry and I knew from our phone conversation I wanted to use her to help design/decorate my home. She very clearly communicated her services and how much it would cost. We had an initial visit at my house and she listened closely to what we wanted and was very helpful to establish a plan. I received emails from her with a design layout and suggestions on items to purchase. There was no pressure in buying what she had suggested but found her suggestions were so much better than me looking everywhere for the item. We love our final design and so happy with the changes we made. Michelle is very easy to work with and was always responsive to our questions. We plan to use her for more projects in our home including putting in a pool. I am so glad we went with Michelle and her design company!

Michelle was a pleasure to work with. I used her for a paint consult on our new home. I now want to use her services for every room in the house with all the finishes. She was extremely receptive to my ideas and my style and she showed me great ideas based on that. She pushed me in different directions that really elevated the look of the home without straying from my core style. She was very thorough over the phone and within the meeting at the home. She has wonderful vision of what things will look like. Unfortunately, only the drywall was up, and it was not plastered; however, that did not diminish her services. She was able to envision how everything was going to look. After she left the worksite, she was very prompt in sending me the rest of the details over email. Her communication is wonderful, and she is on top of everything. I look forward to working with Michelle again in the future and she would be my top referral when it comes to Interior and Exterior Design.

Michelle has been amazing with her help for our bathroom and master bedroom remodel. She has a natural ability to create beautiful rooms from start to finish, and her attention to every last detail is incredible. We hired Michelle halfway through our project because we were overwhelmed with the numerous choices to be made. She helped us decide what we needed for a complete project and provided numerous options. She came with an array of samples of and created a personal web board with choices for furniture, lighting, bedding, lighting, mirrors and such. Michelle and her team completely upgraded our new 4,000sqft home. They used some of our existing furniture but upgraded 80% with new hip furnishings. Michelle is a pro and delivered everything on time and on budget.

Answered my many questions, connected me to excellent contractors, sourced items, attended meetings with contractors and myself when I needed, allowed me to go the direction I wanted.

I hired Michelle after a phone call since she made me feel so comfortable with her approach and process. I have never worked with a designer but really needed to since my project was in a different location from where I was living and I needed it done fairly quickly. We met the first time to discuss the overall project and my requirements and set a budget--she really listened to my inputs. In a second meeting she provided a number of proposals and we selected the furniture. She ordered all the furniture had it delivered to my project location (she designed a living area, guest room and dining room). For the third meeting she showed up with a handyman and they assembled and arranged all the furniture and added amazing accessories to complete "the look". This project was a "turn key" project---I did not lift a finger. Being remote through most of this project she handled everything and made me feel comfortable it was getting done. What I liked the most: Michelle was professional, creative, she aligned with my style, she was very responsive when I emailed her and she stayed in budget. When people come over to my place they all comment on the interior design as beautiful. I highly recommend Michelle you will not be disappointed.

Michelle did an excellent job! She helped us select and order flooring, paint, countertops, backsplash and lighting for our remodel, then she coordinated and supervised the work so that most of it was complete by the time we got back from Italy. Michelle Meyers is a dedicated professional who is passionate about design. I was in the early stages of an extensive remodel, when I discovered JoliG Interiors & Design. I was so overwhelmed with the daunting task of having to select flooring, cabinets, counters, fixtures etc. in a very short period of time, and Michelle came to my rescue. I truly appreciated that she was willing to tailor her services to meet my needs. Even though she had several projects going at once, I always felt like my project was #1. I knew instantly when Michelle and I had our first client call that she really cared, loved what she did and was ready to get the job done. Michelle quickly set up a time to meet us at our new home and our main goal was paint colors. Michelle was prepared with full size boards of many paint colors which we were able to put up and really visualize in every room, within 45 minutes we had chosen a color for every room in our 3300 sq foot 5 bedroom home. From there we have used her talents for furniture placement, lighting, window treatments and our biggest project our kitchen renovation. I love Michelle because she has great design sense, makes quick decisions and gently nudges me into loving things I never would have looked at. Michelle is so easy to work and really wants me to be happy and love what we pick.

Michelle did such a wonderful job designing and decorating our master suite. She definitely has an eye for what looks good and she was able to work within our budget to give us the master bedroom of our dreams. Michelle Meyers worked with us over a several-week period on a makeover of our home’s interior. She exceeded our expectations, and we recommend her without reservation. The project is complete and we’re thrilled with the results. Michelle was involved in selecting a color palette, carpeting, furniture, lighting, molding, and artwork/decoration. She was able to quickly discern our general style preferences, then from the bewildering array of possibilities out there, was able to zero in on choices that made sense for us financially, aesthetically and functionally. She was also able to get discounts on many purchases (those savings alone more than exceeded the amount we paid her). We had problems with a coffee table that was delivered damaged, and she went the extra mile to insure that the issue was resolved to our satisfaction. In addition to all that, Michelle was a pleasure to work with; she helped turn a daunting project into something fun.

She was able to utilize much of the furniture and accessories I already owned and pair them with new pieces to create an eclectic but very cohesive look. I am very happy with how my project turned out. Michelle was super easy to work with and was able to make decisions easy for me. She was very accessible for when I had questions. She's really great in getting me a good price for everything including furniture, paint and flooring. Even though I made changes to the project scope, she was able to get everything done in a reasonable timeframe. I was beyond lucky to have found Michelle, who did an amazing job re-designing our entire downstairs living space, from new chandeliers to new furniture. I searched decorator profiles on the internet for days trying to find the perfect interior designer for our house. Michelle walked into our house with confidence, and immediately had fantastic ideas. I fell in love with her personality right away as Michelle is really personable, full of energy and knowledge . Michelle definitely wants to help create her client’s vision and she does this by framing questions in the appropriate manner in order to illicit your vision and wants to perfection. The décor that Michelle utilizes is not cookie cutter, but rather extremely unique. Michelle does what is needed as she wants her clients to be happy. Once we started working together, I was extremely impressed at how much time and effort she really put into our re-design. You can tell Michelle truly loves what she does and that enthusiasm and passion shows in her work product, as well as the fact that she absolutely does not nickel and dime. I actually told Michelle that she needs to raise her prices for all the time and effort that she puts in, as well as the fact that she does an excellent job on saving you money when you are purchasing your furniture. Michelle went above and beyond numerous times, which has made it so hard to capture what a wonderful job she did for our household. From furniture shopping with me, to handling all the contractors and furniture deliveries, to the follow-ups to make sure everything was perfect and to my likings. And, I was never charged more for all the extra things she did. As further evidence of what an amazing job Michelle did, I recently had a party at my house, and everyone raved about how up to date the decor was and totally “my style”. Michelle gets it, and knows exactly what her clients want. Michelle also helped me keep a lot of the original furniture that I had, which helped keep costs down - something my husband really appreciated! She just moved it around and added updated pieces to change the entire look. Michelle just understands and knows what you need. I plan on hiring her again to redo my master bedroom, bathroom and closet. I cannot begin to say enough about what an amazing decorator Michelle is!

Michelle is a wonderful interior designer that really helped me make smart and impactful decisions on my home remodel. She was great at helping me save money by repurposing things that I had and where to find the looks for less. I loved how she could put designs in her computer software program to show me before I purchased furniture. Michelle worked with my budget and always made sure I loved the design not just because she did! She would be perfect for a small room projects to an entire home remodel.

When I contacted Michelle, she returned all my call/texts very promptly, which Is always appreciated. Once we got in touch she was able to come out pretty quickly. I had told her over the phone what I was wanting and what I wasn’t quite sure on. What I loved most was that Michelle came out so prepared. She had a darling folder with all sorts of printouts of ideas for me, she had her laptop with a folder she created for me with her Pinterest ideas, which I loved. She took photos of my room and my hallway and emailed me ideas that night. She also was able to get the right people out for the labor part of the job who were amazing. She has a great eye and really understood what I was wanting. Michelle was also so very down to earth, making it very easy to have a working relationship with her. I highly recommend her.
