After disappointing experiences with two other interior designers. Joyce was referred to me by a very good friend. We immediately connected. Joyce was extremely responsive, respectful, and well-organized. She gave me excellent options for each of the pieces I needed and gave good guidance when I was having trouble making up my mind. She was also very mindful of our budget, giving us good advice on where to splurge and where to save. I couldn't be happier with the end result. I feel like our house truly reflects our personal style without sacrificing any functionality. She is extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Joyce for any project, large or small!

I hired Joyce to help me redo my space to accommodate a new roommate, and to maximize the overall use of space while elevating the feel of the apartment. Although my apartment is relatively small and my budget was even smaller, Joyce was patient and delivered on everything that we agreed on and then some. She was terrific to work with throughout the entire length of the project - even if at times our tastes were not in agreement. Based on my experience, I recommend Joyce without hesitation!

Working with Joyce was such a pleasure. She is so easy to work with yet professional at what she does. I've worked with her on a couple of projects.. Besides from her amazing aesthetic, she always listens carefully to her client's concerns, and goes over and beyond to make sure their needs are met. It's great to work with someone that has such extensive knowledge and connection in the industry. I would highly recommend her for any project.

I had the pleasure of meeting Joyce in Berlin years ago. At the time she was working for an architecture firm and studying design. We worked on a project together and her input and conceptual thinking were paramount to the success of the project. I am not surprised by her success in New York, as I have always known her to be extremely ambitious.

Before working with Joyce, I had cycled through two other designers. I was down to my last straw, frustrated with the whole process - and then Joyce came to the rescue. She was perfect in every aspect: she listened to my requirements while balancing her own professional inputs, set up the CAD drawings and color palettes in lightning speed, and had a budget laid out within the week. Her greatest asset, however, is her numerous connections within the industry. Whenever we needed something specific done, she seemed to have someone ready to call. As a business owner, it has always been a struggle for me to delegate important tasks to other people, but for the first time in a long time, I really felt like I could let go. I highly recommend Joyce.

Commented: Sleeper chair?It does! There are quite a few manufacturers who sell a similar chair these days, but these specific chairs are from New Spec. (My apologies for the delayed response as I somehow missed your question....

Commented: Looks awesome!This photo is slightly deceiving, but yes, it is still fairly steep. You can really fly down it and we did have an incident once when the broker slid right off the edge and (safely!) onto the floor.
