Our experience with Judith was wonderful! Judith is a very talented designer, decorator. She turned our space into a warm, airy and beautiful area, that we just love more and more! My husband and I hired Judith and her team to help redesign our newly purchased house including the living room, sun room, dining room, front entrance, and master bedroom. To say we were pleased with the final outcome and service we received is a huge understatement. Judith went above and beyond to help us create the perfect space for us. She somehow managed to incorporate design elements that catered to both my husband and I - at times no easy feat! Her design has also improved the functionality of our home tremendously. I would recommend Judith and her team to anyone looking for help with the design of their home. We wouldn't hesitate to hire her again and in fact, we are currently working with her on the design of our nursery.

Working with Judith Mackin was an absolute pleasure. From the moment she walked into Port Saint John's Marco Polo Cruise Terminal, I could see her creative side come alive. The Marco Polo Cruise Terminal was constructed in 2009 with a design that reflected the look & feel of the natural elements of the Bay of Fundy. Beautiful 12ft Douglas Fir wood paneling was installed throughout the space and was paired with C2's Tofino paint on the columns and from the top of the wood to the 32ft ceilings. Since Port Saint John entered into the venue rental business, we were hearing a lot of feedback on the colour and how difficult it was to imagine a modern wedding there because the colours were felt dated. Our requirements were as follows: -Don’t paint the wood panelling -Ceiling must remain the same -Neutral and adaptable -Old Saint John with a contemporary twist Enter Judith. Within minutes of our discussion, a plan was forged: Wrought Iron (Benjamin More) in the Assembly Hall, Oxford White (Benjamin Moore) in the Grand Hall and a touch of Deep Silver (Benjamin Moore) to tie the two together. The white and charcoal against the wood panelling has really brought it to life. The small touches on the windows created gorgeous frames to the waterfront. The painting was completed just in time for our first wedding of 2015 – the bride and her mother couldn’t have been happier. When Judith Mackin first visited our home, she immediately noticed that our dark, lack luster home did not reflect our personalities or interests. We admittedly needed a lot of help creating a home that we could be proud of that reflected who we are as a family. After meeting with us, Judith created a plan to transform our home from drab to fab. At first, we were apprehensive, but we knew that Judith was an expert and we trusted her vision. She completely transformed the main level of our home including the entryway, living room, kitchen and family room. She brought in color and prints that we would never have been able to come up with on our own. It was important to us to include our kids artwork, some family photographs and pieces that are meaningful to our family. Judith was able to include all of these features and create a beautiful home that features many of the things we value. I brought Judith in for a consultation on my 745 sqft condo in hopes she could put a little life into it. I had seen lots of sexy, tiny living spaces on the internet. Mine was tiny, but definitely not sexy, and I wanted some help. In the end, Judith ended up coming in to do the work over 8 hours one day while I was at work. I had no real idea what she was going to do, but I know her style and I trust her implicitly, so I put the key under the mat and went to work. The transformation Judith created in my condo on a VERY limited budget was absolutely overwhelming. She moved some things around, got rid of a LOT of clutter, added several of her own touches, and voila! My condo is like a new home! Among the greatest changes - My computer desk (where I spend a great deal of my time at home), was in a tiny, dark, spare bedroom. I don't have a television, so I was working at this desk, and also streaming tv shows sitting in my very uncomfortable office chair. Judith brought all of that into my spacious, and until now, unused, living room. It has revolutionized the way I spend my time at home! Overall, my reaction to the work Judith did on my home has been that I feel like I live in a magazine article. Whenever I walk into my tiny living space now, I feel absolute joy that I get to call this place home. Judith's eye for design is keen and brilliant. She made my little place feel like a mansion to me using mostly my own things. Just by moving things around and suggesting a few small purchases (a new computer desk and a much bigger monitor, for example), she has made a profound difference in my life at home. I couldn't be happier!

We hired Judith and her team, to help us with the renovation of our cottage and design suggestions for a guest cottage we were building. From the moment of initial contact with Judith, she was responsive and made us feel very comfortable with her approach. Judith is extremely passionate and talented and delivers inspiring results. Not only did our project result in warm and comfortable spaces, Judith went well beyond the typical designers scope of work, by making very practical recommendations during the construction phase. This resulted in a more efficient and beautiful space. Judith meets all the requirements of being an expert in her field. We have been in the real estate development business for 60 years. Judith's firm was retained for interior design and furnishing of a themed ". Audrey Hepburn" model suite anddesign and coordinate the project's opening night gala with a movie theme.
