Julians Interiors

I loved working with Julians Interiors. They worked to understand my style tastes, were creative and patient. I’ve worked with them on several projects and they were very professional and saw through every detail until the finish. I would highly recommend working with them.

When I was in need of design guidance and expertise Julians Interiors provided me with a vision of my home and then executed the plan beautifully. Julie was able to combine treasured furniture with newer pieces for a cohesive look. She was especially skillful in choosing wall color and wallpaper. Julie’s work is magical and my home is lovely. I have highly recommended Julie to many friends and to my sister Donna. Each and everyone is very pleased with her work and appreciative of her design skill.

Over the past three years, Julie Furey has done several projects for us. My partner and I have never been good at picking out furnishing nor do we agree. She started building the relationship by getting to know us and how we use our home. We decided to tackle one room at a time and have her redesign them. Our house is vintage which means small and classic. My partner and I have never been more pleased with our home and her results. She NAILED it! All the rooms tie together, the fabric is gorgeous and durable. Furniture delivered on time and within budget!! Each time something came she was there to inspect , place and helped arrange other accessories to compliment the furniture. I would always ask HER for any future design work in our home.

Julian’s helped me with setting up my new condo. I had explained I liked a Boho style, which they were able to quickly adapt to and work with. They gave me various options for each room and were very willing to work with my existing pieces as well as recommend some pieces to add in. They were very communicative, organized and attentive. I am so pleased with my dream home. They’ve been there through the beginning to the end, even willing to provide feedback on small changes as I keep settling in. I highly recommend Julian’s for anyone looking for interior design services !

I recently engaged Julian’s to help with my new apartment in Saratoga Springs. The process was actually fun. They presented me with several ideas … each scenario gave me prices and different options. The process was seemless and the results stunning. I love the way they incorporated a lot of my existing furnishings making it more cost effective for me and creating a space that feels unique to my personality and lifestyle. I would highly recommend Julian’s to anyone looking for help with a project large or small. You can be assured you are in good hands and will get the results that you would hope for having a designer involved.

Julian’s Interiors has been excellent to work with. I first started working with Julie and her Team back in May 2018. I just recently moved to Connecticut, and I was looking for a designer so I can have my dream home. After searching for a few days I came across Julians Interiors. After closing on my home in Fairfield, I contacted Julians. One aspect of the project I was not looking forward too was coordinating with the interior designer, contractor, painter, etc. After remodeling a previous home I knew that this type of coordination becomes a full time job. I had a meeting with Julie and I brought up these concerns. She informed me she has her own team that handles all construction, painting, wallpapering, and everything else under the interior design realm. It was so nice to know that she would be handling all of this because like I said it can be a full time job coordinating these people. I had a few client meetings with Julian’s Team and they really took the time to explain the process, specific materials being used, and a realistic timeline. One thing I really liked about this process was my ideas, styles, and function needed were being incorporated into every design. After a few months of renovations and the big furniture install the home was complete. I have never seen a home be so transformed, It LOOKED AMAZING!!!! I was THRILLED!!! It was far better than I had imagined in my head. After this fantastic experience with Julian’s on my Fairfield house I knew I had to use Julian’s again when I bought a waterfront property in Madison. This project was much more construction in the beginning because it was being built after a tear down. I wanted this home to be truly custom to my taste so I made sure to incorporate Julians early in the project. Julie and her Team worked with the construction team every step of the way and advocated for my design taste with the builder. Julie had the knowledge to know where to spend money during construction and where to use some good looking inexpensive alternatives. Anyway in the end the house looked amazing once again and I am truly in love. I will definitely be using Julian’s for a future project I have coming up. I have never been more happy. The process was smooth and fun. If you are looking for a designer look no further. Julian’s is great.

In the matter of a couple years my 5 star review has turned into a 1 star. I have never been so disappointed in a company who not only have I trusted w/ two of my homes but have recommended to numerous friends and family members. Upon our move into our new home this summer our project meant nothing to this team. Perhaps they took for granted that they thought they'd magically earn my business without delivering?! I placed several orders w/ them since the end of August and despite me having to follow up multiple times for updates I found out yesterday, months later, that some of my items were cancelled with out notification. I was given curtain panels w/ out the service of hanging them (as they always have in the past) and was told day of that my curtain rod was cancelled/back ordered. To add fuel to that, yesterday, months after my dining room order was placed, I saw on my invoice that my dining chairs were cancelled due to back order. No call. No text. No email. Now I have wasted months of potential procurement or at least ordering of chairs. This has nothing to do w/ the backorder issue. That I know is industry wide. This has to do with inability to communicate with their customers. The few items I was able to PICK UP MYSELF from them, despite paying shipping/freight, were all things I could have bought off Ballard.com for cheaper and have had weeks to months ago. Sadly, if you are looking at these reviews for recommendations, I would look elsewhere. Something w/ their service and care for their clients has drastically shifted for the worse in the last several months/years. I am so happy w/ the new designer I have trusted w/ our new home and can't wait to see it come to life. It is wonderful to have found somebody again that cares about the job and can communicate. If you've landed on Julian's I am sorry, but you are too late to the game to be impressed with what you're getting. A very very disappointed repeat client who has moved on. Love this team so much that I asked them up to our new house in Hingham MA Trust them Absolutely and they are a pleasure to work with. They listen,design snd deliver! Our first house was transformed. Can’t wait to see our next one finished.

This was our first experience using a decorator and I can’t say enough how fortunate my husband and I were to have Julie Furey of Julians Interiors help us. We have been so happy with her choices. She thinks outside of the box. Julie got to know us and used this information in her recommendations. I can’t tell you how many compliments we have received. Her ideas are timeless. We felt Julie’s rates were extremely reasonable. To say it was worth every penny is an understatement. My husband and I would use Julians Interiors again in a heartbeat.

We took a summer cottage stripped it to the bear bones and turn it in to an amazing year round home. With the help from Julians interiors we love our home it is so comfortable that’s what we loved about Julia she worked with us and listen to our ideas worked with furniture we wonted to keep and help us pick new pieces that were fun and fresh. From wood colour to paint colours kitchens,bathrooms it was a very stressless project. Every time we had a question and we called we always go afriendly staff person to answer our questions. We highly recommend Julians for what ever project your working on large or small.

When we started this project, we were overwhelmed at the amount of time and effort it would take to furnish and decorate our dream house on Nantucket when we live in Connecticut. So of course we knew we could count on Julian's to make it happen from start to finish and in a timely and efficient manner! They understood exactly how we wanted our home to feel and their attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. I'll never forget the first time I walked into the house fully decorated and ready to start making memories to last a lifetime. No matter how big or small the project is, you can always count on Julian's to get it done exactly how you want it.

I started the project and felt my ideas were not what I was hoping to achieve. Julians came in & give me ideas. Well the house got totally transformed. Moved walls added windows. opened up the kitchen. Julie's ideas made the house spectacular. The openness/ the bringing of colors together. The floor plan & bookshelves the kitchen or exactly what I wanted. Then they came & placed all the furniture & vases etc. The place is perfect. I would recamend Julians to anyone thinking of doing a new house/remodel/or just refurnishing a exising house.
