My business partner, Mac McKinney and I have had the good fortune of being the leading builder (by starts and closings) in the Serenbe community over the past three years. Serenbe, is arguably one of the most architecturally stunning communities in the country. Julie Holloway, owner/designer of Milk and Honey has greatly helped us with our speculative homes at Serenbe. Julie's guidance for our company on interior design (trim, cabinets, fixtures, tile, colors, etc) has helped our homes without a buyer in place sell quickly and almost always "off the rack" with no requested changes by the ultimate home buyer. Julie comes with my highest recommendation!

Julie blew me away with her talent, energy, and overall caring professionalism. In two short months and on a very limited budget, Julie turned my office into a warm, inviting, soulful oasis for my psychotherapy clients. The atmosphere is smart and stimulating, modern and and fresh, but also comforting and familiar. The space hums with a vibrance that facilitates the healing process. I am delighted every time I go to work and my clients rave with delight at each visit. I cannot wait for Milk and Honey Home to decorate my home.!

We had acquired a restaurant commercial space that was challenging to say the least. The space was a collection of three different previous businesses that had a mismatched appearance before we moved in. Being familiar with the look and feel of the work of Milk and Honey Home I knew exactly who I wanted to help me with this challenging project. Julie and Anisa created a unique, comfortable but classy design that was spot on for the type of atmosphere we wanted to create. Part of owning a restaurant is creating an environment that awes you from the moment a customer walks in through the door. First impressions are critical. Julie and Anisa went above and beyond our expectations for the space. Our customers not only wanted to eat there but wanted to move in! Our next retail space will no doubt have the unique design that only Julie and Anisa can create!. Thank you Milk and Honey Home!

It was an absolute delight to work with Julie Holloway and Anisa Darnell otherwise know as Milk and Honey Home. They truly "graced" our home, first listening to me intently for what I needed and wanted and then followed through in designing a truly remarkable space! Because of Milk and Honey Home, we've had the honor of having Better Homes and Gardens shoot our space as well as hosting a shoot for Country Living Magazine. We are thrilled with our renovation and highly recommend them!

My husband and I worked with Julie to help us redesign our home and dental office. We've worked with her over the last couple of years and we can honestly say that she is one of the most genuine, professional people we have ever had the pleasure of working with. She is creative, smart and really listened to our needs, always incorporating them into her vision. For instance, she made sure to design our home without losing sight of the fact that we would sell in the next few years. She seemed to always know how to get the look we wanted for a fraction of the cost. We've gotten so many compliments from our friends and family. The most amazing part is that she never physically saw the spaces in person. We've done all of our correspondence through emails...lots of them! I came across her blog by chance, and now I feel so lucky and honored to have worked with her. We highly recommend Julie and will definitely be using her services for our future projects.

Renew Properties

I have worked with Julie Holloway and Anisa Darnell for several years. I'm a builder, and I recommend them to clients all the time. They are extremely talented at adding value! As a builder/remodeler, it is important for me to show the value added at the end of a project, and it shows when they design it. I believe in their abilities so much that I have hired them for my personal house - (Actually my last 3 personal houses)!! Each time we have sold, the house sold within the first week, and I attribute that to a great design by them. I chose to bring them in before the renovation project, and they helped me design it with the end decorations in mind. It really came together perfectly. They are worth every penny, and I feel their design has provided a great return on investment as well. Daniel Harper
