Kristi is an amazing design professional who worked with us on our fire rebuild project in Anaheim Hills. Our project had two phases of work - one was helping select materials and fixtures and working on the layout of our kitchen/master bath and the other was putting together a furniture package for several rooms in the house. On multiple occasions Kristi with her knowledge and experience worked as our advocate in dealing with our general contractor and their subcontractors. We love how our house turned out and it is an understatement to say it took a lot of blood, sweat and tears by Kristi and Andrea to make it happen. Several times during our rebuild my husband and I have expressly agreed that we didn't realize initially how much we needed a designer like Kristi and that it was absolutely money well spent. After we moved back into our house, we entered into an additional scope of work with Andrea to design and furnish our nursery. Andrea listened to what we were thinking for the room and we love how it turned out.

Kristi Smith is a top notch professional in her field. She spearheaded a 12 month major home remodel for us from start to finish which we just completed. We have worked with her on several occasions in the past. She is very easy to work with and is very reliable and upbeat. She has a great style and is up to date on all the current trends and at the same time listens to her clients wishes and needs, sets a plan and goes all out to accomplish the perfect end result. Kristi is always available and can get things done in a timely manner. She is very skilled at working with the trades people including the architect and the GC. Her input and coordination was so valuable. Bottom line is she really wants her clients to be happy and is willing to do what it takes. We do recommend her highly. Kristi is a real gem.

Kristi and her team at K. Smith Interiors transformed our home with a beautiful and functional remodel. Kristi was recommended to us by Design Hardwoods when we first started updating our quirky and dated 1980s house. We worked with her team and KCS Construction on a trial remodel of the master bedroom and decided to move forward on a whole-house design plan. Kristi excels at planning the layouts for elegant and practical living spaces. They transformed our claustrophobic and inefficient kitchen/family room into a light-filled, open great room, and found space for a walk-in pantry to boot. Similarly, she took an ugly half bath and transformed it into a walk-in mudroom and pretty powder room. She and Andrea also picked beautiful custom finishes, like a custom vent hood and beautiful accent wallpapers, that really elevate the design. When the initial materials or furnishings were outside our budget, they came up with terrific alternatives. They also explained why we might want to allocate more of the budget to certain items/finishes, and they never steered us wrong. K. Smith offers strong design sense coupled with excellent relationships with contractors and vendors. The close working relationship with our General Contractor was a huge help in managing a complex whole-house remodel and design plan. We truly love our “new” home!

I used Kristi when we bought our home 10 years ago and gave her a call when we decided it was time for a refresh. The refresh turned into a remodel and love it all! The design team is amazingly talented. I provided a few pictures of styles I liked and they created a vision that was stunning. My kitchen is classic and timeless - it's beautiful! The master bath materials and finishes chosen are modern and impressive. The French Oak wood flooring finished the entire look. A small basic bathroom was transformed with a slightly industrial design - so cool! Kristi and Andrea took a standard house and made it custom and unique. They took a dated master bedroom and gave it an updated and fresh look. The family room fabric choices for custom drapes, pillows, new furniture pieces are casual yet stylish. The interior of our home was in dire need of a facelift. Kristi and Andrea presented us with some awesome finishes and recommendations for appliances that kept our project realistic in terms of budget. The finished product is a dramatic improvement over what was in place when we started, it looks fabulous! As good or better than many of the high end model homes we've visited. I had the please of working with Andrea on a staging project recently for a client selling their home. She was very professional, went above and beyond to get everything prepped and ready within our desired time frame, and just an all around delight to work with. Where to start is the biggest question a person can have when you are going in for any kind of remodel! We met Kristi about 4 years ago when we were looking into a huge remodel project on our home. Kristi is fantastic. This particular job we did with her was a 5000 sq foot soft modern custom home that required keen attention to detail and a great sense of style and flair for every room in the house. Kristi supplied all that and more! Her follow up and follow through were amazing. She was proactive, professional, and a lot of fun too! She spec'ed the house finishes from top to bottom including all the furniture and we are thrilled with everything. Truly one of a kind! I met Kristi and Andrea mid-way into my home renovation. It was a huge project. I needed a second set of eyes to help me pick materials.
