About Us

Karen Andrea Interior Design brings a unique functional elegance to the interior she creates. With over 30 years of design experience, including residential interior design, art direction, graphic design, textiles and product design, importing and manufacturing, Karen started her own interior design business after launching her own children's furnishings brand Room Magic® 17 years ago. Designed with her daughter as inspiration, Room Magic brand collections have received international recognition for her colorful, modular and green sustainable designs both parents and kids love.

Karen is the best - I have had seven Interior Decorators doing different rooms in my home here on Lake Mission Viejo, Orange County CA over the last 22 years, the only one I would call again for my next project (and will) - she listens, has consistent targeted suggestions (while maintaining fair pricing) tolerant and understanding of demanding ways all while working endlessly toward the main goal (just don't get in a hurry) - she has the magic touch resulting in beautiful finished decor - obviously I am very happy, Jack Barnes.

I hired Karen to transform my small two-bedroom home into an inviting sophisticated space. I hired her to decorate the bedrooms, living room, and dining room. Karen has an amazing eye and spacial sense. She knew exactly what to do with every inch of my space. I am so happy with the flow, the furniture, and the style/colors in all the rooms. Karen was reliable and efficient throughout the whole process. I highly recommend her.

I found Karen through Houzz after my recent designer and I parted. She was the first designer who really listened to what I wanted. Her ideas she had to bring our home to life were perfect with what I had envisioned. She is very warm and approachable and her prices are super reasonable. I look forward to working with her on all my designer needs.

Karen remodeled our main living spaces and our master bedroom. We used several pieces that we already had and incorporated some new furniture and artwork. I love the fabrics she chose for pillows and drapes which really made the room complete. We are very happy with the results.

Karen Andrea's professional, highly talented, and creative approach to the interior design of our living room, bedrooms, and dining room carried throughout to each and every element that resulted in on budget, on time, and on plan. We were particularly pleased with her imaginative solution to what initially was a pre existing problematic window placement in the living room on a supporting wall that could not easily be changed out. That and the inspired color choices in each room that tied each together yet they remained separately defined. All of this was happily lauded by our friends in our open house celebration party at the completion of Karen Andrea’s interior design “masterpiece” of our home. We were thrilled.

Commented: Where can I see/purchase the bed, night stand and other pieces that goThey are currently not in any retail stores, buy can be purchased. If you give me your phone I can call you with more specifics. Also can be bought on Amazon, who carries inventory on the furniture.
