Karen Parham - KMP Interiors

Karen Parham led the upgrade of my home including kitchen, master bathroom, powder room and family room. She selected all finishes, appliances, tile, furniture, paint, carpeting, art work and accessories. Essentially it was a complete makeover of a 30-year-old house and I have enjoyed many compliments about the improvements from visitors and family. I love the feeling I get whenever I walk into one of the newly decorated rooms. Karen has advised me since early 2011. Her contractors were always top-notch craftsmen that closely followed her instructions. The various projects were always completed within the timetable she set. She has been a good steward of my money and I recommend her highly. Additionally, she brightens my day with her quirky sense of humor. I look forward to working with her on future projects. Karen Parham with KMP Interiors was wonderful to work with. My husband and I purchased a home that needed a total renovation, we were prepared for a stressful project but with Karen and Ella's creativity and professionalism our project was totally stress free and we were able to create exactly what we were looking for. Their knowledge helped us avoid many mistakes that would have been costly and they met all time lines and came in on our budget. We couldn't be happier with our finished project and when we decide to renovate the basement we will certainly call Karen.

I am currently building a new house and initially hired KMP Interiors to help select furniture. They did such a wonderful job making thoughtful, practical and beautiful selections, I decided to utilize their services for additional design aspects of the house. They have truly helped my house become a home that reflects our family's style. I cannot say enough good things about them!

Karen came to my house on the recommendation of a close friend to give me some decorating advice. She was kind enough to come over on an hourly basis to help me finalize some decisions for our master bath and a few other areas of our home I was working on. I was more than happy with her ideas and suggestions. She was mindful of the budget I was working with and was very down to earth and extremely easy to work with. She could not have been nicer and I felt as if I were consulting with a friend and not some one I had "hired".... I feel she would be an asset to anyone's project. She really listens to her clients needs and has multiple great suggestions and ideas. All in all I cannot say enough in praise!!

My husband I worked with Karen for about six months on several phases of decorating our home, including carpet and exterior paint colors. We've been thrilled with everything. Karen prepared design boards for our master and two guest bedrooms, plus a study, and our dining and dinette areas. We love the inviting colors and extensive accessorizing in all of these rooms. Karen worked with existing furniture where she could, and explained the purpose of all her proposals when she couldn't work with what we had. For us, it's changed our home into a place where we are comfortable inviting friends and neighbors for parties and socializing. We were "wowed" by the results, and will call on her again.

Karen helped us to create a completely new look in our home from paint colors and flooring choices to furniture and accessories. She understood our vision and brought it to life! She was able to recommend painters and contractors whom she coordinates with which really made the whole project much more seamless. We couldn't be more pleased with the results and are enjoying our "old" home but with a fresh, new look and feel!

We found Karen on Houzz and could not be more pleased with her help in creating the basement of our dreams! She helped us design it to fit our needs within our budget without losing style and function. She went above and beyond to help me decorate and find the best pieces and finishes that bring the space to the next level. I highly recommend her assistance with your future project!

Karen worked with me to decorate a new home consisting of a dining area, great room and bedroom. I was looking for a more contemporary look, but with traditional nuances. She developed a plan of action, budget and succeeded beyond my dreams. She was easy to deal with, made a number of great recommendations as to color, style and how to make the separate areas blend with each other, yet maintain a division such that each area is it's own unique space. Karen did a great job and I heartily recommend her.

Karen and her team did an excellent job on our project which comprised a total gut of the kitchen and master bath plus purchase of furniture and decorative items. We could not have been happier as she coordinated our project from beginning to end. She recommended a builder who was excellent and handled all the technical aspects in communication with the subs. Her design for our master bath was beautiful and she was able to add a lot of storage at the same time. She is very knowledgeable and professional and fun to work with too. We have done a kitchen and master bath renovation at our previous home but there is no comparison in how they turned out. Karen's work is stunning. Her insight and guidance were spot-on and she suggested so many things we would not have thought of. She and Stacy knew what we liked and found furniture, artwork and decorations that were exactly what we wanted. We are thrilled with the outcome.

We moved into a new house in January and I had no idea where to start with decorating. I saw Karen's review on Houzz and decided to give her a try. I have not been disappointed! She has worked within our budget and given us a beautiful living room and dining area beyond our expectations. We have more to do and excited about what she and Stacy will come up with next. Both ladies are professional, communicate frequently and fair with pricing. I would highly recommend KMP Interiors if you're looking for a great decorator.

We moved from California to Georgia with 2 small kids. We needed a designer that we could trust to lead the project before we arrived from California. Karen did that for us with amazing grace. She presented her design plan and organized all the trades while updating us via email and phone. It was a comfort to know our new home was being well taken care of. I would highly recommend Karen's services and will call her in the future for other projects.

We've contracted with Karen to help us with a major renovation to our home. She is a pleasure to work with. She works to bring your vision to tasteful fruition without imposing her own style. She has excellent ideas and resources, and keeps the budget in mind the whole time. Karen works well with the architect, the contractors and sub contractors. Her experience is invaluable in making good, cost appropriate decisions. She has saved us time and money with her expertise. If I were to do anything differently, I would had hired her sooner!
