We were excited about our upcoming move to South Carolina but paralyzed knowing we were going to need to select new furniture. It seemed a daunting task until our real estate agent highly recommended Karen. The rest is history. We are now settled in our new home and thrilled beyond words with our furniture choices and owe it all to Karen. Before we even moved from our Maine home, we had selected the majority of our furniture. Karen listened to what we wanted our home interior to look and feel like and she immediately began sending mood boards with furniture, rug and upholstery ideas for each room. Karen spent an inordinate amount of time with us and was incredibly patient and kind as we moved through the selection process. Karen helped us furnish our great room. She came to our home and was ready to measure and present ideas. She listened to us and presented colors and furniture to meet our lifestyle and taste. She assisted in bringing in colors and fabrics that we would never have considered on our own. Great experience.

Meeting Karen was a happy accident!! We met her in the showroom while shopping for furniture for our open concept living area. Karen sat and spoke with us, at great lengths, to understand how we wanted our new home to look and feel. Much of the design was constructed via e-mail and phone calls 785 miles away! Karen listens to your thoughts and ideas and brings them to life through decor! An absolute pleasure to work with!

Karen is an amazing designer. We gutted our 4 bedroom condo and she was instrumental in putting it all back together. Karen is always coming up with new ideas and measuring to make sure everything will be perfect, Along with her artistic design talent she is very patient and keeps hunting to find exactly what you want . 5 STARS from us . We knew Karen would be great after the first 15 minutes we spent with her after walking into J&K!!

Karen is absolutely incredible to work with! I met Karen when I drove from Wilmington, NC where we live to take a look at some Lexington Furniture we were interested in. Karen was so laid back and the opposite of the high pressure sales reps that I have experienced in the past. We found several pieces for our Wilmington home on that visit. Fast forward several months, we are working on a condo in Raleigh, NC and I wanted to see if Karen could help - she was quick to respond that absolutely she could work with us on this project. She uploaded our floor plan into her system and was able to show us with precise detail what dimensions we would need for all of the furniture for the entire condo. It was like magic! She then worked her own magic helping us pick out beautiful selections for the entire condo. I have never had such a positive experience with furniture and accessory selection. And to top it all off, Karen is not just incredibly talented - she has a fantastic, fun personality - and she is super responsive. I cannot recommend Karen strongly enough!

When it comes to great interior designers, Karen is the real deal! We were faced with a new home filled with empty space. We had an idea and a budget and Karen worked tirelessly to create a design that brought our dream home to life. Karen will listen and integrate any of your familiar favorite pieces with new contemporary additions. You will also love Karen's truthful and spunky personality. Karen is the best! She is a true pleasure to work with, very likeable and instantly made us feel comfortable. She came up with options that truly reflected what we were looking for. She is a terrific listener and asked guided questions to get us where we wanted to be. She is incredibly patient and we feel she went above and beyond every step of the way.

Went into the store to just browse and found a wonderful deal on a beautiful couch. The store had half a price floor sale, so I got a great deal. Karen came over to help and then I used her to pick more furniture to work in my new house around my new couch. She was very helpful picking fabric and furniture to fit my house and budget. We love all the furniture and it fits in the house great. Even though I don't live in the Myrtle Beach area anymore, I will continue to use her assistance. She is very responsive to emails and very friendly. I appreciate all her help in making our house a home.

We had a fabulous experience working with Karen to furnish our new home (i.e. LR, DR, and K) in Myrtle Beach. She provided us with an abundance of design options when considering the appropriate furniture/layout, colors, fabric, window treatments, and artwork for our space. Although the pandemic caused the project to span nearly 7 months, it was well worth it once the last delivery was made. Karen is a true professional and a joy to work with and we would not hesitate in highly recommending her to other potential customers.
