In her 21 years as a designer, Karlene has developed an approach of mixing design elements ranging from historic to contemporary. Karlene has completed projects all across the country that has been featured in magazines such as the Robb Report – Exceptional Vacation Properties. As a Senior Interior Designer at Gabberts, Karlene has access to numerous resources to complete projects of any size.

I have worked with Karlene over the past 15 years with decorating 3 different houses. She is easy to work with and has great ideas. She has helped me with bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, family rooms and our outdoor living areas in our homes. When we recently redid the exterior of our current home, she even found our exterior lighting and gave us great design suggestions. She was a huge asset in working with our builder and helped with the designing of our new exterior and outdoor living areas. I highly recommend Karlene!

Karlene provided expert design assistance and insight for our formal living room project. We purchased a few quality furniture pieces and also were able to get excellent suggestions on several other pending home projects. I strongly recommend Karlene for any interior design project you may have. Not only is she a talented interior designer but she is also an outstanding listener and facilitator. Her focus is what her clients want their home to look and feel like and proceeds to move her clients along, step by step, decision by decision, to reach that ultimate goal. She gently and effectively dealt with disagreement or uncertainty between my wife and me and helped us reach a shared understanding and agreement as to which would be the better choice for us.

Karlene Hunter Baum designed my living room several years ago, and we love it so much that when we decided to redo our dining room, we looked to her for design ideas and advice. Karlene was incredibly knowledgeable, savvy, and patient as we deliberated over choices. She came up with creative solutions to our space challenges, and helped us to find the perfect solution to our dining room design needs.
Her knowledge of design helped us to pick out items that were appropriate for the period of our home and the lifestyle we tend to have. I highly recommend her for any design project of any size.

Commented: Cushion SizeYou are welcome! I believe I had my work room make them with 3"foam and then wrapped in dacron for loft and softness. They are considered a box cushion with 1/4" self welt.
