About Us

Kate Taylor Interiors (“KTI”) is a full-service interior design, project management, and interiors brand representation firm based in Chicago, Illinois. Since its inception in late 2013, the firm has accepted and completed numerous projects both locally and nationwide. These projects range from luxurious urban dwellings to expansive family homes, extensive residential renovations, and inventive commercial interiors. Kate is capable of managing all aspects of a client engagement, including design conception, renovation, space planning, and interior styling. Her design philosophy is fully immersed in gaining an understanding of the clients’ needs and desires - and with the use of refined and timeless materials, an elegant color palette, and classic lines - Kate enables her clients to realize their dreams.

We knew we needed a designer to help us renovate our recently purchased condo. Although the place had good bones, it was quite out dated. Hiring Kate was the best decision we ever made. From day 1 she made the renovation process easy. She quickly understood our vision and taste and provided options for each design decision without making it too overwhelming. We are so happy with the results and could not have done it without her!

We hired KTI to help with the interior design of our new home. Services included picking numerous finishes (lighting, furniture, rugs, blinds/curtains, art, etc.) and we were absolutely thrilled with the results. KTI is highly professional, responsive, and flexible. Kate takes the time to understand the look/feel you want in your home and executes accordingly. Furthermore, if you don't like initial selections, Kate is a very good listener and will come back to you with other thoughtful options. This flexibility was extremely important and we found this quality to be extremely valuable as we designed our new home. I would highly recommend using KTI and we certainly would for any future projects!
