My husband and I had lived through two remodels of our lake home over a period of 16 years and were quite satisfied with the layout of the house. It was, however, time to refresh, declutter, and be rid of the drab furnishings that had seemed so appropriate for lakeside living in the beginning. This time, I wanted help from a professional who had no ties to a furniture store or brand. I consulted friends, but wasn't impressed with the predictable designs I was seeing from some of their recommendations. I had already started saving "favorites" to my Houzz Ideabooks. I had saved several photos from one particular house and looked up the designer. It was serendipitous-she was close by! I made contact and we set up a meeting. Kathryn was punctual, warm and friendly and a great listener. She was so quick to pick up on our style, acknowledge our pets (always important) and appreciate the renovations we had already done. She made our work easy by narrowing down our choices for paint, wallpaper, furnishings and decor to making a decision of "do you like this one or that one?" She let us know, up front, her billing process, what we could expect from her and her crew, her time schedule and her expectations for us. She held up her part of the contract and we have been completely satisfied with the outcome. She was right on with the whole job from beginning to end and nailed our distinctive style perfectly, while blending in new pieces with our old favorites. We would recommend Kathryn J. Kathryn and her team did a fantastic job of designing a main bath remodel for our home. She gave us options to consider and kept our requests at the forefront of her design. The communication was consistent and all our questions answered. We are pleased with the final product!

My husband and I relocated to Little Rock from out-of-state into a new construction home. The very best thing that Kathryn did for us was to change the configuration of a room that was cumbersome to enter and closed in for sitting. We were delighted with the openness and ease of use that Kathryn created by moving furniture and appointments in a way I never would have come up with on my own. Kathryn does exceptional work and stands behind her services. She will do everything possible to ensure you are pleased with the result, and her customer service is extraordinary. The whole process was effortless for me. She decorated my Airbnb, and the feedback I've received from guests has been excellent. If there is anything at all amiss, she will take care of it quickly and efficiently. Kathryn offers a premium service, and her prices reflect that. However, you get what you pay for and more. A couple of issues arose outside Kathryn's control, and when they did, I was so glad that I did not hire a cut-rate designer. Kathryn made things right, even when they weren't her fault. I cannot recommend Kathryn highly enough!

We bought a foreclosure that needed a lot of work. Kathryn has been essential to this process! I know that she has improved the look of our home and brought me peace of mind with the many decisions that needed to be made. I will be bringing her back for help with decorating and other projects. Kathryn was such a delight to work with! We were new to the state and also first-time parents and just couldn't find the time or energy to decorate and furnish our home as we wanted. Cue our search for a professional (we had no idea what to expect as this was our first time) to help us obtain the look and feel we wanted as well as stay within budget. Kathryn was the first we contacted and after some preliminary paperwork/questionnaire and our initial complementary consultation, we knew we had made the right choice. Kathryn's DIY Package made the process so fun and simple and helps make the client feel less overwhelmed about their project. Kathryn put everything together in a beautiful visual presentation for us and we are free to implement at our own pace. Also, her A-La Carte option is awesome should you start to feel unsure after you've begun to implement her design and could use a litttle extra guidance and professional eye. We will hire her again for future homes and cannot recommend her enough!

Kathryn is super talented and professional. She has a fun loving personality and the energy that goes with that and it shows in everything she does. Kathryn is willing to work with her clients to get the right package based on their needs. She was affordable and created a priority list based on our needs, which she included in our contract. She was able to give us a good layout for four rooms in our house and gave us multiple options for each item to choose from at varying price ranges and at the proper dimensions to go with the size of our home. Thus far, we have bought a new dining room table with accompanying chairs, rug for dining room and an entry way table based on her plan. We have recently purchased two slipcover, swivel chairs for our living room to go with our existing couch. With the plan she prepared for us we are able to purchase the furniture and or fixtures we need as we go and have the paint colors on hand for when we decide to paint the rooms.

It is a delight to work with Kathryn LeMaster. She is a good listener who has been able to help us transition into a smaller home while still keeping the essence of our family intact.

Kathryn has been helping us with several projects. She has helped draw plans for a house we are going to build. We have been very pleased that she has been able to come up with unique ideas to customize these plans for our family. Also she has helped design an office that looks like an outdoor beach bar for our home in Puerto Rico. Everyone who has seen it is blown away by how great it looks. Next Kathryn has helped decorate my 24 year olds apartment that included designing a custom bed It looks great and perfect for a 24 year old. Kathryn is also helping us with my masterbedroom, my 21 year olds room and a family room. We love everything she has designed and are excited to work with her much more in 2016.

We found Kathryn on Houzz and contacted her because she offered so many design package options, including a DIY package, which is what we wanted. When she came to our home, we instantly knew she was THE designer we wanted to work with. Kathryn has such a warm and inviting demeanor and is so easy to work with. Her designs were exactly on the mark – she saw our vision just by asking a few questions and walking through our home! She also has an amazingly organized system and communicates very well. Not only did she bring great designs and samples, she gave us a digital shopping list with links to all the items in her designs! We are blessed to have found someone as talented and kind as Kathryn.

My husband and I decided to update our house focusing on the kitchen and bathrooms. We were so impressed from the beginning with Kathryn! Kathryn and I met online, and began working on my project for a couple of months before meeting in person. I was amazed by how well and efficiently she could plan out and design my new empty apartment from just photos and skype calls. I went the e-design way, and after taking room measurements, Kathryn produced full details plans of the room, including a shopping list fitting in to the budget. Furnishing 4 rooms at once was huge for me, but Kathryn is a pro at efficiency, technology (made mock up photos of my rooms filled with the furniture we chose), punctuality - fast and always on time, and an awesome communicator. Most of all, the sweetest person to work with! Not only that - she happened to be in New York at the time a few furniture deliveries came, and helped build and place the items. All in all a great service, and highly recommend A+++

We highly recommend Kathryn. She listened to us as her clients and executed ideas based upon our design style. We had bought a new house and asked her to help us furnish, design, and style It. We appreciated her detailed drawings and ability to "show" us the vision and plan. She is quick to respond and allows for flexibility based upon timeline needs. Kathyrn was GREAT...professional but not stuffy, listened to what I wanted, stuck to the time table and finished under the estimate! I was really impressed with her project presentation. I went with her DIY route, and she made it very easy for me to put together the rooms using what she picked out or using it as inspiration and finding my own pieces. It was obvious that she really paid attention to our style and my seemingly inane ramblings of what I was looking for. Sometimes I wasn't even sure what I wanted, but she managed to nail it. Highly recommend and would definitely call her again.

Not only is Kathryn a great interior designer but also she is very easy to work with. She recently helped me complete the design for an entryway and powder room that she had previously designed. As some key elements had changed, she incorporated in the new features and listened to my concerns about existing trouble areas. She is responsive in replying to emails, client suggestions and questions and is clear about managing the project time line. She delivered according to the agreed upon budget and guidelines and supplied plans, images and sourcing details which are very helpful. I am very happy with her creative input and suggestions.

The end result is a cohesive, tasteful and comfortable home I will enjoy for many years. Her fabric and furniture choices compliment my personality and lifestyle perfectly. Kathryn assisted me in styling and accessorizing our new home. She nailed my design ideas and style based on the questionnaire and my comments. I was amazed at how she was able to match my style exactly! It would have taken me years to accomplish what she accomplished in one day. After living in our home for 17 years we decided it was time to update the main living areas of our house. We searched through various websites and talked with friends and neighbors for recommendations of decorators. After viewing the Houzz website and looking at a number of decorators, we saw Kathryn J. LeMaster’s Art and Design presentation. I sent a request to her briefly outlining my objectives and immediately received a response. She scheduled a meeting to measure, take pictures and make notes and said that she would get back with us soon. Within a day or two, she sent numerous pictures and ideas. We were able to communicate easily on the Houzz site she helped me set up. When she came with her plan, I was amazed that she was so thorough with her presentation. She took the ideas that I had sent her and expanded them in very creative and agreeable way. She wanted us to be thrilled and more than met our expectations. We bought our first fixer upper and found ourselves drowning in great ideas, layouts, and colors. We were indecisive and nervous about making mistakes. We were immediately attracted to Kathryn J. Kathryn J. LeMaster Art and Design is an excellent business. Kathryn LeMaster is an extremely talented designer who is very easy to work with. She has an open mind and wonderful and creative ideas. Kathryn really wants the design to reflect you and does a great job of figuring out what that is. As far as the business side, she does great research, keeps in close contact and always does what she says she is going to do. I would recommend her for any job and will be using her again in the future. Her work is wonderful! She has done a kitchen redesign for me which includes fabrics, rugs, art, decor, furniture, sink, cabinetry finish and hardware, lighting and backsplash.

Kathryn has taken a worn out kitchen and home (after our 5 boys - have beat it to a pulp) and created a huge lived in space that Rivals any Magazine design - It was a privilege to see her in action.
