We hired Kathy Monarch to consult on a kitchen and bath redesign, and she has brought so much to the project. We have an older home with some original parts and some updated areas, and she has helped us navigate toward a beautifully blended design that brings the house together. I love home design but find the choices overwhelming. Kathy’s insight and resources have been invaluable. She is guiding us through a process in selecting items that build on and complement each other, and I’m more and more excited about the finished product. Her eye and her guidance on shopping trips has saved us sooooo much time and money. Kathy has great partnerships with local, high-quality vendors, and often significant discounts as well. I like that when we’re shopping, she notices how I’m responding to materials, and works with that to guide us in the right direction. Finally, she has a great respect for my budget requirements and lets me know when I’m shopping in the expensive section and when something is a great bargain. It’s allowed me to splurge where I like and balance with some of my other selections. I’ve no doubt she has made a tremendous impact on our project.

My wife and I hired Kathy Monarch to help us remodel our kitchen in 2016. Kathy did an outstanding job creating a beautiful, spacious contemporary kitchen that exceeded our expectations and really enhanced our home. It was a challenging project involving some innovative construction and design. Kathy was very helpful coordinating with the contractor and the cabinet maker, and shopping with us for appliances and other fixtures. My wife and I actually went to Peru for a month during this project, and Kathy helped ensure that project kept on schedule and within our budget. We are very grateful for all her assistance and exceptional design skills.

After seeing the lovely design work that Kathy Monarch did at our cousin’s house, we were excited to have her breathe new life into our home of more than 50 years. Kathy was able to incorporate sentimental pieces that we had owned with modern design, creating a cohesive and well planned out living space. For example, Kathy was able to see how having an artist transform the frame of a well loved oil painting from gold to platinum, would allow it to fit perfectly onto the new color palette. She used her gift of design in every room of our house, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Form the initial design, to advise on furniture and finishings, to the placement of artwork, Kathy has been with us every step of the way making sure that we were completely satisfied with the process and the outcome.
