Kelly and her team are top notch. We worked with Erin at Kelly Deck design to plan and develop our corporate office space in Vancouver. They were knowledgeable, patient, and of course have a great eye for detail and resourcefulness to make our dream built into a reality. We had a very specific idea of how we wanted our office to feel and function upon completion, and they saw this trough from inception, to permits/ revisions, construction and liaising with our general contractor, dealing with the inevitable hiccups in building, and finally the end result and furnishing finishing touches. Kelly has also helped clients of ours with their residential projects, and the clients have had nothing but good things to say, and the results speak for themselves. We would highly recommend them for your residential or commercial projects.

We hired KDD to provide a comprehensive interior design service for a newly built house. The level of service and quality of their work was excellent. They worked with us to help achieve the design we were hoping for by listening to us and providing their expert opinions. We hired the Kelly Deck team to provide complete interior design services for our total townhouse renovation including planning, design, materials selection as well as a complete furnishings package. We had an excellent experience and are thrilled with the outcome. We wanted something that was modern and fresh, but casual and elegant at the same time and we believe they achieved that for us, incorporating our small art collection and other personal items. They were able to maximize storage and the use of space in our relatively small home, creating a home that is very functional and beautiful at the same time. The team is very professional and when the inevitable issues/challenges arose during the design/construction process, we were pleased with the manner in which they were handled and the solutions/options presented.

Kelly Deck and her staff provided interior design for a custom home project I designed in Gibsons BC. From start to finish their service was professional and friendly. They produced an absolutely beautiful interior package including all cabinetry and millwork, finishes, fixtures, appliances, flooring, tile and paint colours. They also handled the decor, fabrics, artwork, furniture and installation. They produced excellent drawings and comprehensive specifications and were always conscious of our budget and schedule. As a boutique development firm, we've built several homes with Kelly Deck Design over the past ten years. Kelly and her team take an artful, inspired approach to every project and we are always impressed with their ability to make design accessible and inviting. In addition to their creative flair, KDD offers a methodical approach to the design process. Providing a detailed specification binder and construction drawings that cover every detail of building the interior. The thoroughness of this design package allows for clear communication between the builder, trades and suppliers--saving time and costly errors.

I hired Kelly Deck Design because I'd met Kelly and liked her design aesthetic. I had seen her show oN HGTV initially but then met her in person to discuss the designs for my house. We discussed my aesthetic and got a feel for what I liked. I was in the process of moving and wanted someone to comment on my house purchase before I made it to see if it was realistic to achieve my style in the space. Kelly visited a few of the properties and told me which ones she felt would be appropriate and outlined a budget for each project. I think I would have bought the same property regardless but her input did solidify my decision making as I knew when I bought it that there was a plan for the space. I liked how she listened to my design ideas and was then able to evolve them further. I always felt she had my needs and my aesthetic in mind. There were key components I wanted to keep in my house and during the design process she would elaborate on ideas that I had, taking it beyond what I ever would have conceived on my own. Also when I had an idea and she thought differently she would present her idea and see what I thought. Her ideas usually won but I enjoyed the learning process of designing a space myself and then having it critiqued and improved upon. I love the flow from one room to the next There is a reason why one room differs from another. She also made the place usable, there was a lot of practical thought put into the space. Often there would be an area that seemed to have no function and Kelly incorporated these areas to be aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. My favorite thing is my outdoor fireplace. There was an existing fireplace on my roof deck but the new one makes a huge difference to the place. Between the fireplace, the built in BBQ pit, and the bar area, she took an incredible Yaletown roof deck and made it magnificent. It's used constantly by myself and my friends almost year round. After having lived in my apartment for five years I haven't changed much in the design. I had the dining table widened as the room could handle it and I found the table too narrow to sit at with guests for long period of time. Most other things I've kept except for changing things seasonally. I spent about what I wanted to and most of the reno costs were done not to recoup in the sale of the condo, rather it was done to enjoy myself living in the condo. My impressions of the company today are excellent. I would use Kelly again and have, and will, recommend her and the company to my friends.

I have been working on jobs with Kelly Deck and her amazing team for about 7 years. I started off as their tile rep, and I have since continued working with them through a new position in the plumbing industry. The designs are exceptionally beautiful and the team is so fantastic! Jobs run so smoothly from beginning to end and everything is extremely organized and caters to everyone involved from start to finish. Anyone working with this team is beyond lucky!
